Auto Μoto Αdamas - Rent a Car Milos - Επαρχιακή οδός Αδάμαντα – Πλάκας

For starters, these guys had a quad when it seems everyone else on the island had none to spare. The price was 60 euro a day, which isn't great but hey it was literally the last quad they had and just before me someone paid 60 to have a quad just for the evening. So all in all, I am glad that I was able to rent a quad at all. Now on to the quad; it was by far the most beat up thing I've rented. When they went to start it, it stalled shortly after. They tried again, same result. So they sprayed some lubricant on the ignition switch, started it again and gave it some gas a few times and acted as if this solved anything. Obviously it didn't but it was a good show. The ATV would stall on cold start up and you had to give it some gas for a minute for it to warm up. The handlebar grip on the right hand side was in tatters. This is a 5 euro part that should have been replaced months ago. Pictures are included. It is absolutely shameful to rent a vehicle in this shape. The rear tires were worn down significantly. The top box did not stay latched and no lock was provided. We had to use twigs to keep the lid closed else it would flap up and down. I wasn't worried about us leaving the helmets in the unlocked box. They were beat up and smelly, nobody in their right mind would have ever stolen them. The speedometer didn't work at all. It would show 4,5,6 or sometimes even 7 kph when the GPS reported 40. So in short, the ATV was junk and 60 euros a day was an absurd rate to charge for this scrap. If I thought that I had other options than to ride this neglected ATV, I would have pursued them. On the other hand it did make its way dow to the sulfur mines and back up. So ultimately I am grateful to have had an awful ATV rather than no ATV at all, but the experience remains bitter sweet. Fact is that if they had maintained this ATV at all, this would be a 5/5 review....

Scam - go away from Auto Moto Adamas ! Really a very bad experience very far from other company used in other islands. - Cars are old, and dangerous in spite of their nice external aspect . - We had 3 differents warning lighting, (hot oil, wire pressure, maintenance but rental people find this normal (too hot temperature!). - When we return the car, the boss of Auto Moto Adamas discovered a very small scratch, created probably by another car in our absence. We had been obliged to pay a huge amount, to repair it with police's call threaten and others threats. This scratch was of course minor to compare of others already made on the car and of course still not repaired when we take this car... It was just clearly to make more money! - The assitant said "it's a revenge from our Boss when he visits Paris". I'm not from Paris, and it's not my country. We miss the boat and pay... Go away from this company and spend nice hollidays in Milos !

Vehicles are in bad shape and rude personel. Would not recommend as there are so many better options on this beautiful Island. Answer to owner 1. I was late, but I paid for that. 2. You didn't try to reach me before the next day, which is after I tried to call you several times to tell you we couldn't make it before you close. 3. There were no damages to the quad as you agreed when we delivered it back and your mechanic also confirmed this 4. We didn't go to an (un)accesible area? We drove on a flat dirt road. A quad should be able to do this, right? 5. I paid for everything. Even a full extra day because we were late (drop off was in the morning instead of 9 PM the day before). And as I said earlier, there were no damages? What damages did you want me to pay for? You never said anything about this at the drop off? 6. Last but not least. I did say SORRY for returning it late several times. Maybe you didn't hear it since you were busy yelling. Good luck to you and your business.....

Very hospitable and charming people. We rented two quads for two days and Maria and Milos were very accommodating in terms of pricing and timing. Such nice people and very good materials/ quads. As a bonus they even gave us the exact tour of the islands what to visit and where to eat. I definitely recommend it.

Highly recommended this place, the staff was very accommodating for a last minute rental. Definitely call ahead to make a reservation. They gave me a great price for a 450cc quad for the 3 days I was there. ATV drove like a champ, return process was easy. Walking distance from the port to catch the next Ferry.

I had a good experience here. I showed up without a reservation (because I had internet issues) but they helped me to get an ATV for my 4 days on the island. It started as two days to visit, but my girlfriend and I decided to stay longer and this business extended my rental without a problem. Very friendly! We were able to communicate through WhatsApp about extending the rental (and I stopped by to make the extra payment). Our Quad was reliable; a little wear on it, but nothing unexpected for a rental vehicle. I hadn't ridden a Moto in years and they gave me a quick explanation and got me on my way. They helped us with good-fitting helmets too! Make sure you have your International License. Some reviews complain about being denied with out-of-country licenses, but I get the impression that the staff here are trying to do things right and only rent to those who have the right paperwork. While we were there, we even saw someone walk in without the right paperwork and they had to explain the rules to those visitors. Driving in another country is a privilege; please come prepared!

Excellent. I rented a moot scooter from them and could not have been happier — the scooter and helmet was in excellent condition, all the people at the shop are super friendly and helpful as well as they really make sure you’re comfortable knowing the ins & outs of where you’re allowed to go and which is the No Service area. And the prices are equally we’re much ok. They clearly tick all the boxes, I’d rent from them any time again. Big thumbs up to the owners, it’s been a joy to meet!
