The car was good, although had a few scratches - I was advised to visually inspect the car before signing, taking photos & or videos.
I'd use Matha again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed with their service especially upon return of car. I had specially asked for an early drop off as our flight boarding time was 9.10 am. The staff on duty on the day didn't actually show up until 9.10 am! Lucky the flight attendant was happy for me to board later on...Not only was he late, he also had a very bad attitude when he was confronted by myself and another customer when we voiced our disappointment with the service. Really unacceptable!
I booked a Nissan Juke thinking it would be easier to drive. However this car was old and maxe noises when it turned corners... Don't bother with large cars for Milos. Some of the towns have very narrow roads and people parking everywhere so the chances of you scratching the car are higher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked online through economybookings who used a company called Drive to book the car through Martha rent, when we arrived the guys said they had no record of our rental because they do not have a proper relationship with Drive. After a lot of messing around and phone calls they found us a car but who knows what would have happened if they were busier.
Maybe okay if you book it with them directly but to be honest if you have a problem with your booking system then maybe do something about it rather than telling the customer that ‘this keeps happening’.
Also 700 euros held for up to 15 working days after the rental has ended is too long.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived to the island without booking previously our car. In our hotel Asterias Boutique (100% recommended), Stella (the receptionist) helped us with the car rental. Thanos from Matha rent brought us the car directly to the hotel and gave us an excellent service and recommendations in the island.
At the end of our vacations, he came again to our hotel and took the car without any inconvenience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rarely (if ever) have we had such a flexible car rental: Delivered to our hotel within 10 minutes, changed the rental period and spontaneously dropped it off at the airport instead the main office. Everything without extra charge and at a very good price.

We have got a fiat panda, perfect model to discover the East side of the island (if you want to discover the West side you will have to take a jeep or a 4x4 for any car rental company).
If i come back on Milos, i will repeat the experience with Matha.
Definitely one of the best car rental company on the island.
