Me and my family came to this restaurant for the views and that is all that was good about it. The staff were Horrible as was their service we were put at a table at the very end ,whilst all the hotels guests were prioritised, had to order and pick-up drinks ourselves. Wine was almost undrinkable. We also got wrong information about the times of their out door pool . Truly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody.

Where to start...? I stayed at Avalon for 7night in July/August this year. Hotel offers airport transfers and free transportation to few near places which is quite nice convenience. The gratest advantage of the hotel is the view... just wow. From terrace, from the pool (public and private) there is astonishing view over the bay and Zakinthos city. I got a suit with private pool with the view obvously and I have to admit it was the best room I have ever been. There is more... breakfast and dinners as for the hotel was quite nice, I could rate them 4/5. I have also pleasure to meet the greatest stuff ever. Hospitality is Polish thing but hotel's stuff knows it very well. So, do I recomend to saty at Avalon? Definitely! Am I goint to stay at Avalon with another visit to Zakinthos? Ooh yess!!

Great view, excelent service and friendly staff. Prices at the bar are lower in 2021 than other years i have visited. Its a very quiet place and the big pool was great in the daytime and the private ones are excelent even at night, with a great view and luxury suite.

Had a wonderful experience here. Proximity to Zante and placement on Bohali hill put's it a crossroads'. Offering ways for both watter access points of interest or a mix of both. The room provided was of decent size, decent accommodations. Food fas fine, best advice i can give; when in doubt, ask! Personal was kind and caring. On the requests i had they did not hesitate offering solutions and possibilities. Could use a wider selection of beer! At the end of the day as i sayed from the start for me all was good. Excellent would have been if the mini-golf course and tennis field where operational. Would recommend 100%!

RUDE AND INEFFICIENT STAFF!!! This hotel is fine, pool is nice, HOWEVER the customer service it’s below the lowest standards. I can’t believe still how rude and inefficient the front desk ladies were. They didn’t wanted to deal with you and they made sure you feel it. Simple requests as: a few extra hangers (took 3 days for them to bring it , after I asked maybe 7-8 times) , calling a taxi or having our receipts also was “forgotten” and always delayed. Every request was met with this feeling that you were trouble to the staff Breakfast was very poor quality for a 4 star hotel. Pool and the view was the only nice thing in this place. Other than that was old and outdated.

Don't take all inclusive. The food is really sub par. Nothing disgusting or anything its just isn't good. The menu also didnt change at all during our 7 day stay. The rooms are ok, however everything feels like it lacks quality. The drinks are decent and very reasonably priced but they are not using any fresh fruits or even limes for the cocktails. The room also lacked shampoo and there weren't any shelves to properly unpack. The view is great, the hotel is in a nice place. There are wasps, the meaner bigger variety too. Theres on overall lack of attention to detail. If you dont intend to spend a lot of time in the hotel it is a goos enough place. It's clean, beds are comfy. Rooms a bit small but have seen worse. Pick it if you enjoy a calm atmosphere

Poor value for money ratio · The pool was great with a nice view. The hotel is not located in a touristy area, it’s very calm. Free transfer to Tsivili beach and Zante town. One of the receptionists was super helpful. · When we booked the place the hotel informed us that there is no airport transfer due to COVID, but later on it turned out they started to operate again, but no one informed us about the option. The room is a bit small, and there was no shampoo or toothpaste. In the restaurant they didn’t label the food, so you have no idea what you’re eating. We always had to ask the staff about every single meal, as we have food allergies. There are a lot of huge and aggressive wasps by the pool and even inside the restaurant, which made our dinners absolutely unenjoyable. For dinner they don’t even give you a glass of water for free, you need to pay if you want to drink anything.

We booked on April 2022 to arrive on the 13 of June the suite with privacy pool, we choose this hotel because the photos was very nice, we sent a message them to inform out time to arrived in Zakynthos but nobody answer. 1. When we arrived they said that unfortunately they don’t have our room because the platform of Expedia and booking didn’t work and they was overbooked!!!! If they already know about their problem why they don’t contact Expedia or the customer to inform about the situation before we arrived. 2. The younger women from the reception was the most rude and unpleasant person that we ever met, she even didn’t look us, she just talk super loud, because for her “is not my problem if we don’t have the room for you” if we paid for an expensive room why we weren’t able to say how unfair was that they never call us or sent a email explain it us about the situation. 3. More people arrived and had the same problem because everyone booked a special room but they was overbooked so we waited a lot of time and during that time they just offer another rooms to another people but anything for us, “well we can offer you a room in the ground floor is all what we have” During our waiting time we decided to contact Expedia and fortunately they have an amazing customer services who always helped us in this time, we was on the phone and the lady from Expedia called to the hotel and this women from the reception just laughing and not answer the phone, the lady from Expedia tried 3 times to contact the hotel but was impossible. I was in front of the reception and said to the women that the Expedia was trying to contact them and her answer was rude “they don’t contact me they contact the hotel” (but who works at the hotel?). Finally Expedia booked another hotel with the same conditions about the room that of course was more expensive but they cover everything due the problem with the hotel. So no was just us that day was a lot of people complaining about the hotel and the poor quality of the customer services, Oh! The driver was in the airport but with another name we called a few times to the hotel so finally they picked us. I suggested go to another hotel if you want to start your holiday out of dramas
