we arrived here a week ago, in the beautiful setting of Bochali within the tranquil suburbs of zakinthos. As we arrived we were greeted by the family owners who showed us the facilities, directions, tips and guidance to enjoy our holiday to the maximum, with the least of fuss you could expect with a group of 6 adults, with an unbeknown holiday destination! The Villa had so many mod cons ie dishwasher, 2 washing machines.sound system and large flat tv/DVD player , Wi-Fi, not to mention the well equipped kitchen! You could also enjoy the our door built in Bbq or pizza oven with all the fuel and lighting equipment provided. The balcony was well used during our holiday and overlooked the subtropical trees and plants and some view of local town. If you were hanging around in the afternoon, the Canope awnings stretched the breadth of the balcony providing adequate shade if you fancied. What was a major plus was the airconiditioning provided in every room. However we didn't need to use it as even when outside temp reached 28Celsius the indoors still remained cool. We very much enjoyed venturing into the town which was around a 15-20 min walk. The square was just off the promonade with plenty of cafe/bars, and some very enticing boutique shops which vary and cater to a plethera of individual needs. We enjoyed the beach in tsilivi which is a short taxi ride costing €7. We then lapped up the sun on the white sandy beach whilst occasionally having some time in the crystal clear turquoise sea. I was a little reluctant to venture into the waters as it was only mid May, however I plucked up the courage an ran in to be astonished how warm it was for the time of year! The beach had many water activities you could choose from which targeted families , so both adults or kids seperatly could enjoy the; Fun Flying fish, Banana boat, Parsending, Jet skis or the classic Pedlos. The local snack bar, had a huge menu and looked very smart, there was sunlounger waiter service and a call button with some of the sunloungers, if you really couldn't be bothered to walk to the bar which was around 30 seconds! Many nights at Villa Eliza we set ourselves upon the loungers and outdoor sofas to watch the sun set, whilst enjoying the surroundings and having one or two tipples of the local Greek wine.If you like white wine it's best to buy this at the main supermarket as the mini market although very convnienet due to its close proximity didn't have a wide wine selection, However many of the classic Tavernas we sampled did have it and it was delicious and cheap! I could go on about the fabulous restaurants and things we did but it's up to one's own to discover their own piece of Greece.I will however recommend the Restaurant ALvi in Tsilivi. We all absolutely loved staying in our 1 week residency at the Villa Iliza. It took moments for us to settle in and felt like the home we all dream of having or going to. we will be sad to be leaving it as if it had not being so homely and well looked after we wouldn't have had the fabulous experience thus not having the memories which we can now share and reminisce over. thank you for looking after us, we love you Villa Eliza. lots of love the 3 couples from the Isle of Wight xx

The house is lovely and we had a fantastic time here. We were here with our 3 children (3,6 and 8) for 2 weeks. Timos and Becky could not have been more helpful and welcoming, the house is very well equipped and the lush shady garden with its beautiful old olive tree was an ideal place to relax on hot lazy days. The views from the 2 sun terraces are fabulous, a great spot for sunset. Every meal we ate at the house we had at the table on the lower balcony, and we used the bbq for a feast one day. I had ideas to make pizza in the outdoor wood fired oven but August in Greece is far too hot for that! We drove to a different beach most days we were here, there is a lot of variety to suit all needs. Highly recommended!
