★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From one point of view very cozy restaurant with home like atmosphere and nice local music. And lamb with artichoke is awesome. From other points of view quality of service it's quite low and slow. And chef's salad was awful.
So, it would be really nice if you are ready to wait half of hour to pay for dinner and reorder forgotten dishes.
I believe, that service could be much better than this time.

Extremely friendly staff willing to go the extra mile in a family run business who pay high attention to raw materials and authenticity in recipes which consist the tradition of Cretan cuisine. Plenty of dishes to choose which cover the like even to the more demanding customer. If you are looking for a pleasant place to enjoy original and flawless dishes of the Cretan cuisine in reasonable prices away from the tourist traps then look nowhere else - this is the place to be. Make sure you try the lamb or the pasta based dishes (skioufichta) which are offered in a vegetarian version as well. And lastly make sure to try at least some sips of the raki which is homemade. I am definitely going to re-visit this place next time I am in Crete as it is one of the places where Cretan cuisine meets Cretan hospitality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Greek food. Absolutely delicious mezze dishes in a traditional Greek tavern. Lots of mezze dishes to choose from, all well done. Fresh Greek salad and amazing stuffed vine leaves! Lovely family run business. Highly recommend!
