Die Woche vorher hat es ordentlich geschüttet und auch wir haben z.T. heftigen Regen erlebt. Aber wenn es morgends noch gar nicht danach aussah, wurde es am Ende doch noch ein fantastischer Tag mit milden Temperaturen. Ein Sache auf die man sich an diesem magischen Ort verlassen kann, ist der atemberaubende Sonnenuntergang. Das Meer von den allesamt recht hoch gelegenen Villas zu überblicken ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Diese unendliche Weite, ohne dass man auf (im Herbst) Boote/Schiffe/Fähren/Kreuzfahrtschiffe, etc. schaut, ohne dass am Abend eine einzige Menschenseele an diesem doch recht großen Strand zu sehen ist - das habe ich so noch nie gesehen. Nicht in Asien. Nicht in der Karibik. Daher halten wir den Herbst für eine ganz besondere Reisezeit. Auch, wenn nicht mehr alle Restaurants aufhaben. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Ein Wort zu dem sehr netten Personal: man ist sehr schnell auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Die Kommunikation via WhatsApp ist für beide Seiten angenehm. Einzig die Pool-Situation an unserem Apartment war nicht ganz optimal (Poolpumpe nachts zu laut). Aber das ist Klagen auf höchstem Niveau ;-) We were there with our two children during the German autumn break. The week before it poured a lot and we also experienced heavy rain in some cases. But if it didn't look like it in the morning, it turned out to be a fantastic day with mild temperatures in the end. One thing to rely on in this magical place is the breathtaking sunset. To overlook the sea from the villas, which are all quite high up, is something very special. This endless expanse, without looking at boats / ships / ferries / cruise ships, etc. (in autumn), without seeing a single soul on this quite large beach in the evening - I've never seen it like this before. Not in Asia. Not in the Caribbean. We therefore consider autumn to be a very special travel time. Even if not all restaurants are open. We haven't missed anything. A word about the very nice staff: they responded very quickly to our requests. Communication via WhatsApp is pleasant for both parties. Only the pool situation in our apartment was not ideal (pool pump too loud at night). But that's complaints at the highest level ;-)

I would like to stay there in the winter also. It would be fantastic to see the winter waves of milos beach drinking your cocktail in the balcony

The location is also close to the main town as well as a picturesque village. The beach below is one of the best on the island. We stayed for a week and had an overall excellent experience. 5/5 would recommend.
