β β β β β I was here tonight. I orderd a beer, fishroesalad with bread as a starter and kalamares for maincourse. I was served beer and bread.... After a while I was served the fishroesalad and the kalamares at the same time. So starter and main together. When I left, I was asked if everything was ok and I said no. The guy wanted me to talk to the chef, because he paid him a lot of money. I tried to tell him, that the food was ok, but the service was not, but he wouldn't listen and said : OK - GOODBYE!

β β β β β Owful expierence - terribly intrusive waiter... Small portions, burnt meat, my husband's lamb chop's size was like a joke... Quite high prices. We waited for 1 hour for main dishes and as a result 1 of 4 persons didn't wait for ordered food, because it hadn't even started to cook...
Definitely walk past this restaurant!

β β β β β Terrible place, must be the worst restaurant in Agios Nikolaos. No service (putting dishes of other tables on our table, then remove it again, wait for almost an hour on something simple like pizza and gyros and even then the wrong dish was brought). No quality (gyros tasteless and very small portion, pizzas not fresh but supermarket quality). The only person who leaves this place happy, must be the owner (after counting his daily revenues). Ignore this place!

β β β β β We were here before 2 years ago and it was delicious, nice and restaurant had an atmosphere, UNFORTUNATELY NOW the food is tasteless, without spices and the waiters was very nice but they keep guests sitting(looks like a lot of guests are eating here) and we waited for the bill forever. After a meal, my stomach hurt, so.. I do not recommend it! :(

β β β β β You get lured in with some smooth talk by the so called "boss". When we mentioned the gyros was like chewing gum and was very bad overal he laugh it off, told us to bad and never went near us again. We tried paying by card but their machine broke down and it was our problem on how to pay. Very rude service and overal bad place. Avoid at all cost. If you enjoy being scammed and ripped off go ahead. Will never visit in my life again.

β β β β β I feel the need to respond to the supposedly bad service or food comments. The place was sparkling clean, the person getting the customers in was not pushy at all, food was divine. I ordered mussels, a greek country salad, and a beer. From the frozen glass my beer arrived in, to the knowledgeable suggestions of the head waiter, and the freshness of my food, I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Besides the excelletn quality of food and service, the one thing that makes them stand apart is that they also make you feel like family. It is not just about your wallet. And the complimentary local drink at the end, I will not forget.... Needless to say of all the places I ate in around the lake in Agios Nikolaos, this is the one I recommend wholeheartedly.

β β β β β Haning dinner at this restaurant was one of the worst experiences ever. We ordered a Greek salad, fried squid, fried shrimps and french fries. The only good thing in all these was the potatoes. Squid was tasteless and full of oil, shrimps were no actually shrimps but the very little ones that here in Greece they call them gampari and it shouldn't be sold as shrimps. Greek salad was below the Cretan standards and the olive oil was really bad, having a taste like it was quite old. The worst among all was the guy at the entrance.He was really pushy with the customers to enter, swearing all the time, saying the same lines and having absolutely no idea about culinary arts. AND AT THE END...they brought us a bill with extra 16β¬ to pay. They said that it was a mistake and they charged a bottle of wine..just like that. Luckily we had ordered few staff and the mistake was noticable. WATCH OUT your bill at the end! Definitely we will not go again in this place. It's very expensive and it has absolutely no value for money.

β β β β β We stopped here because of the haggling waiters. We didn't order food, and the waiter was visibly disappointed, after which he changed his attitude. We wanted to order cocktails, but only a few were available. Settled for beer and stale chips. Desert was absolutely mediocre and didn't match the photos on the menu. The bill came higher than the prices in the menu, meaning no tips for these folks. I felt a bit scammed and it left a bitter taste for the evening.
