Bourgos Studios - ΧΩΡΑ

Μεγάλη προσοχή γιατί άλλα δωμάτια κλείνεται κ σ άλλα σας πάνε που δεν έχουν καμία σχέση με αυτά που βλέπετε. Δωμάτια βρώμικα με υγρασία, χωρίς παράθυρα, πετσέτες κ σεντόνια λερωμένα. Δεν υπάρχει καμία βεράντα κ καμία θέα, είναι ισόγεια.10 λεπτά αντέξαμε κ φύγαμε. ????

Όμορφο με ιδιαίτερο χρώμα δωμάτιο στην παλιά πόλη της Νάξου, που χάνεσαι μέσα στα παραδοσιακά σοκάκια. Η διακόσμηση δωρική και λειτουργική αλλά καλαίσθητη. Το μπάνιο έχει ιδιαίτερες ρετρό πινελιές, αλλά η αλήθεια είναι ότι δεν έλαμπε και δεν ήταν τόσο λειτουργική η ντουζιέρα. Το σύνολο των δωματίων έχει μία όμορφη αυλή ακριβώς δίπλα στο σοκάκι. Το σοκάκι ήσυχο μεν, αλλά μπορεί να σε ξυπνήσουν περαστικοί κατηφορίζοντας το πρωί. Ένα συν ακόμα : το δημοτικό πάρκινγκ δεν ήταν σε μεγάλη απόσταση. Η ιδιοκτήτρια ιδιαιτέρως φιλική, μας παρέλαβε από το λιμάνι. Συνολικά θετικές εντυπώσεις και ένα ιδιαίτερο κατάλυμα με παραδοσιακό χρώμα, εντός της παλιάς πόλης, σε αρκετά συμφέρουσα τιμή. Ιδανικό για ζευγάρια και φίλους.

Warning ! Scam and surbooking !

Yesterday I was frustrated to know that the high speed ferry to take my family to Santorini was cancelled by the ferry operator due to unfit weather condition for the high speed vessel. I had no option but to book another ferry scheduled at 23:30. I found in google one of the nearest located accomodation with a reasonable cost, Studio Burgos. The host kindly picked us up to the studio. The studio was nicely decorated with the authentic greek island style ( I guess) and equipped with necessary items. I highly recommend this studio to all kinds of visitors who want nice accommodation with reasonable price.

Stayed here for two nights as a couple, got the room at ground level. It has a great location (right next to the castle) with a lovely breakfast area (some tables get ocean view) and super nice hosts! Picked us up at the Port to help us with the luggage. We would definitely stay again!

Run away ! 8.9 on Booking // 3.1 on Google ==> Simple reason : Dishonest We booked one night in this place on Booking : mid-august, high season in Naxos. 1h before arriving in Naxos, we got a text message, telling us that they were going to pick us up from the port : nice from them ! We reply it was not necessary as we know the city and can walk but the owner insisted. Once we met her at the port, she told us her hotel was fully booked and we were gonna stay in her sister’s place > we were quite septic about it but as it was high season and not informed at all about this situation before we didn’t have any other choices to go there. We figured out, that the location was not the same at all, not in the center, and worst : that the room was looking far from what we booked on booking.com. room wasn’t the same at all, we booked private bathroom, it was finaly shared one… >> see pictures. We asked to pay her « supposed » sister by Credit Card, she told us it was not possible as she doesn’t have the TPE so we had to pay 70€ by cash (original price) without any receipt. Later we figured out that she did have a TPE. 5 minutes after, have payed in cash, we got an email that the room in Bourgos Studio has been cancelled so we couldn't leave any comments >>> Easy for them to have 8.9 on booking this way. Later we tried to reach Booking.com customer services but has we paid in cash we couldn’t have any proof of our experience and so can’t get our money back. And the best part is when we contacted Studio Bourgos to tell her our dissatisfaction, she told us that we were liars, that we never stayed in her place, that we never met her et that she doesn’t have any sister in Naxos… All of it explains the 3.1 on Google !! We always have been very welcomed in Naxos and greece in general, so disapointed about the experience > if you want a true Naxos exeperience don’t book there as you don’t know what you will get.

Run away!!!!! If you want to through your money, that's the place! The studio and location is different than the announced in the websites as Booking.com. Not even part of the "studios location". An albanese guy (not English speaker) will pick you up to direct you to your "studio", beside the cleaning lady house. Welcome to the noise from 7am onwards! Of course no WIFI ;) She will put you beside the cleaning lady room that will be sharing with the whole family in summer. Best way to steal 130 euros for 2 nights in high season. Of course wifi will not work (but she will claim it is)... if you are looking for an accommodation I am sure you can find something better!!! A picture better than anything!!

They suggested to offer us over the phone a larger room than initially booked (sounded like an upgrade). When we got there we realized it was not very clean nor in a location convenient for tourists (far from center). We asked to be moved to the initial booking which indeed was in a good location and, though smaller, had newer facilities. The room was not cleaned properly and toilet paper was not provided. Paying was a bit disturbing, as the owner insisted to flag the staying as cancelled to avoid booking.com fee and tax (presented us a favor to us).
