★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth it! We stopped here randomly and was in doubt if to actually go in. Looks pretty inconspicuous and remote. But the food was amazing! All homemade, on the spot; fresh ingredients; huge portions. The family is very welcoming and offers a great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in West Crete for a week and tried many Tavernas. This was our favorite. The staff is very sweet and the food was excellent. The server, Andra was so friendly and talked with us for hours while we ate (both times). We are vegetarian and she told us to let her know in advance if we were coming again so they could prepare a full vegetarian meal. We did, and it was INCREDIBLE. If you are going to Chania, Kissamos, or Ellafanisi you have to stop by Lefteris Taverna and eat. Its the best food around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a rock solid 5 stars. In a small village on the west side of Crete we found this diamond of a restaurant. Locally sourced food, wine and raki. Made with passion and skill, the room filled with laughter and joy.
Thank you for giving us this experience, and all the best for the future.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cannot recommend enough. We loved the dinner here and we would always come back if we had the chance. Nobody took better care of us during our time in Crete. Delicious, fun, felt like home (or better :)). Best luck to Tavern Lefteris!
