★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here after spending the day hiking Aradena Gorge loop. Arrived at 20:30 with no one else there but the older couple that owns the place. We had low expectations, but everything was great! We watched them make everything fresh. It was also super cute when she brought us we delicious cheese pies to eat while we waited (only took 20 minutes to get the food) They had super hospitality and are very proud of what they do. Definitely give them a go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We parked there and went to get some coffee to later go hiking to the Imbros gorge.
Amazing hospitality by Ioanna, we've never felt so welcome in any other restaurant, so we obviously wanted to come back for lunch.
And it was worth it, food was delicious as well ;) we had lamb, sfakian pie, baked cheese and greek salad

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend & I made the last minute decision to stop for dinner on our way back to Chania. Best choice ever. We were the only non-locals, but were kindly welcomed & treated like family. Dinner was a totally incredible authentic Cretan dinner experience. Everything was homemade & either grown by the restaurant or locally sourced. We tried a little bit of everything & it was all fantastic. The bread was fluffy perfection, stuffed squash blossoms had incredible flavor, the Greek Salad was huge & refreshing. The spinach pies were savory goodness, & the mixed grill platter meats were grilled to perfection & full of flavor. The meal ended with fresh fruits that they grew and two types of local Raki. We left very full & very happy with the entire experience. Stop in!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very lovely small taverna near the entrance to the Imbros Gorge.
I can't recommend this place enough. Very nice people there. Some people from the village gathered here and played their instrument and started singing.
And the food is so good. You'll immediately know that most of the ingredients are homemade. We'll definitely come back :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best in the village, nothing is too much trouble, the owners are on hand too assist with your every need. All the food is fresh and locally in season, with their young son Niko romping about he lends to a lovely family venue with a shady place to while away the hours wether for delicious food or just a coffee, one never feels rushed and a marvellous stop to relax. ☕️?
