Free parking if you eat here after your hike. Others will need to pay 1 euro/hour.

Good food and friendly service. Parked for the gorge and returned for a bite to eat. Pork souvlaki was home made and with a cheese and tomato toastie with drinks was a very reasonable €20 recomended ?

I visited this place for a coffee. I don't like to be bad but I have to be honest, the coffee was disgusting. I ordered a coffee latte, they made me a very bad cappuccino, then I asked more milk they gave me those small little milk portions which is not the same. And the cherry on the cake, they charged me 3euros for this!! I was shocked because it was the worst and most experience coffee I have ever had in Greece. The staff was nice though but I don't recommand this place.

Took forty minutes to arrive one plate of lamb pilaf. Lamb was rough and overly salty, rice was overcooked and soggy. 11 euros for a dish that costs 7 elsewhere, and much better made. Not recommended. That said, if you're looking to head down to indros gorge, this is the highland start point for a two hour hike through the gorge.

We had a look at the menus at a lot of the tavernas and cafes around the gorge entrance and decided that this one had the most vegan and vegetarian options for lunch. We are very glad that we decided to eat here! The food was excellent! All up our lunch with a litre of water was 13,50 euro total for two people. While we were waiting for our food to come out they had their fresh delivery of bread which was amazing (ended up ordering another serving). We also had the wild greens and the herb rice in the Tomato and capsicum. This was enough for the two of us after our hike from Imbros Gorge. The owners were lovely and very helpful!

Typical tourist trap. The parking says Imbros Gorge but in reality it's a taverna's paid parking. 1 euro per hour unless you buy their lousy food. Stay clear of both the Taverna and the parking place.
