It's tourist trap! Watchout old man talking friendly and offer drinks but in the end you are the one to pay!!!

Now it is a place called "All Day Bar". Which is complete scam. I think it is hostess-bar Bottle of spirits costs 100 euro there

A very dangerous place. Stay away and do not reach. At first it feels cute and then the girls there start taking a very expensive drink out of you and in the end they also stole another deal from me. tourist trap!!!

WARNING TOURISTS DO NOT GO HERE: There is a scam being run through the restaurants and businesses in this area. Google “Renia Bar” it’s about a block down the road. You will see over 120 one star reviews all detailing the same scam of an old man (there are about 5 or 6 total from what I’ve read) hanging out at this restaurant acting friendly. He will tell you his brother owns a business/restaurant in your home country/state and then invites you into his bar (Renia Bar) for a free drink. A female korean bartender with horrendously bad teeth then signals two girls to come sit next you as a bouncer steps in front of the exit. They will start asking you personal questions and then ask “may we drink with you?”. Of course you will politely say “sure” but they’re tricking you cause they put their drinks (€30 glasses of “champagne” (looks like flavored water)) onto your tab without you knowing. The old man disappears and then next thing you know there is a €100+ bill in front of you with their drinks on it as well as the “free” beer you were initially offered. This establishment is culpaple to this scam as they are watching the old men do this in their restaurant routinely. The google reviews date back years to give you an idea of how long this has been going on. I can’t imagine how ashamed all of their parents would be if they knew their kids grew up to be pathetic losers whose purpose in life is scamming innocent tourists. A disgrace to the city and culture of Athens. Police reports have been filed and still nothing has been done as we were conned just recently

Common "Tourist Tea Scam" where something free is offered or someone asks to drink with you and they drink on your tab. I was grabbed by the gentleman who played nice until I was walking out and didn't pay. When I very clearly stated "Yes you can get yourself a drink for yourself". The people here that scam you walk around the area and the hotel nearby. Stay away.

Me and a friend were really close to being ripped off today, avoid any gentleman who asks you the time then offers you to drink with him. We walked with him the the "cafe" (a scam bar) and then he insisted we sit down. I didn't like the look of the place so left while he tried to grab my arm. Avoid places like this and the "free rose" scam. A blight on a otherwise culturally vibrant city.
