D	Damien Kieffer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice staff and good experience. The procedure at arrival was fast, we booked online before arrival. The car was easy to find and easy to give back.
O	Olle Kaidro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their business strategy is based on a scam. They first agree with you one price with full coverage and you have to pay 50€ as deposit and remaining on the handover. But on the delivery of the car they start talking about 2500€ deposit for insurance coverage. Or an option to pay 35€ extra per day. If you agree to pay the deposit they will start talking about holding money for at least 10 more days and reduce the additional cost, just to convince you to pay extra. So you’re in a trap in between , fighting back, you’ll lose 50€ or paying extra. Nobody mentions anything on the initial agreement. Shameful that a big car company can operate under scamming people.
A	Anna Szücs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure what happened to people leaving one star reviews, but I assume there are several Caravel offices, the one next to the airport might be fishy. However we walked into the office in downtown Heraklion. We rented an automatic car for one full week for 200€, insurance included. We payed with cash and that was it. The car was allright, we dropped it off at the corner at the end of the week, the guy walked up to us and took the key. Everything went smoothly, no fuss, no hidden fees.
U	Una Danilovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got fiat grande punto 2011, but we booked different groups of cars (at least on the pictures). When we got there, they asked for aditional 150e, for insurance even tough that is not the price on the web site. When we got the car back, they were not there. We called a few times but they were not answering. All in all - a complete scam.
H	Harry Stanimerakis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scammers. They are canceling one and two month old reservations as to rent the car now will generate three times as much income. They are, in essence, offering a booked vehicle to the highest bidder. Zero professionalism whatsoever.
X	Xy Zw on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got scammed and lost most of the day to find a new car. Had a reservation months in advance - they gave our car to somebody who walked in and offered more cash. The manager gave us a smug creepy look telling this to us. I hope Karma will catch up to him Also, the deposit is twice the normal: 2000 Eur for them to keep if they feel like it
A	Ana Paunovic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If there was a ZERO, this is how we'd rate this car rental. Worst of all, the agent (Elsa was the name) was SO RUDE, SO ARROGANT and SO CONDESCENDING. We literally sat quiet in disbelief, shocked with the way she allowed herself to address us. After doing our research on the internet, the same day we went to visit their main office, Heraklion downtown. We then found out 1. that the cars advertised online are not available, 2. that in order to rent a car at the published rate they want to block EUR 2000 on your account for 45 days, and 3. that they don't accept different types of credit cards (such as Master pre-paid, etc.). As I was the one who wanted to rent the car (female) and therefore tried to communicate with this agent, she kept turning the conversation towards my partner (male), passing questions such as : "Do you understand? I hope you do." Her behavior from the very beginning - towards potential clients of their business - was more than unacceptable, and instantly we decided to drop the idea of renting from them. We just stood up and left ..
M	Miguel Bernardino Santos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a car one month before. The day before our arrival, we worn them that we were going to be 2 hours late. When we arrive at the office, they tell us we've lost our reservation, because we where late. They've never said nothing about a "deadline" for pick-up time. They tried to hire us a car for double price of our booking. In addition, when we made book, we beg them to hire the biggest car of the two available for the same price, because we were 5 people with big luggage. Of course, the car that was "reserved" for us, was the smaller one. Never more with them.
