Es sollten angeblich noch 24% MwSt. dazu kommen. Das ist ein absoluter Blödsinn, die Preise müssen für den Endverbraucher immer mit MwSt. genannt werden. Dann kam noch dazu, dass wir zwingend eine Vollkaskoversicherung abschließen müssen. Für 20 € / Tag! Es gab noch eine Versicherung für Räder und Glas, 15 € / Tag. Ich habe davon verzichtet, daraufhin wollte der Manager 3000 € auf meiner Kreditkarte sperren, als Sicherheit. Meine Bank hat es verweigert, so müsste ich doch für 20 € diese Vollkaskoverischerung kaufen. Achja, mit Kreditkarte bezahlten kostet nochmals 5%. Ich bin einfach gegangen und woanders angemietet. There was an insurance for wheels and glass, 15 € / day. I renounced it, then the manager wanted to lock 3000 € on my credit card, as security. My bank has refused, so I would have to buy for 20 € this Vollkaskoverischerung. Oh yes, paid by credit card costs another 5%. I just went and rented somewhere else. Guys, do not do that to you!

Once the reservation completed, I called to the shop to ask the manager if I had to take care of anything when coming to the shop to sign the contract and take the car, if there was any particularity. The manager said "no, you come here, sign the papers, take the car, don't worry, everything will be fine". Three days before the date of my reservation, I presented physically to the said, asked the same questions, got the same answers. And then on the day of the delivery, surprise: "you need to have 1100 euros guarantee on your account and more to that, we need to be able to hold on this amount by your credit card. No checs accepted, no cash". Well, my card is blocked for safety reasons at 600 euros, but I could have removed this security by a simple call at my bank, if I had been warned by the manager. Failing to provide this security test, the manager forced me to buy another 100 euros insurance for my rental. The whole attitude was completely disgusting, on the moment when I absolutely needed the car in order to get friends from the airport and move on to our destination, he was like "well if you don't take the full insurance you can just leave the car, there is no problem". Avoid at all cost, in any case there are lots lots of car rental shops at Chersonissos with very decent prices and I doubt you can find any other manager that arrogant and disrespectful. I wish I knew beforehand.

On the road, it broke completely and we called the company. At the same time, 300 euros were immediately deducted from my card. After us he took the tow truck. In the morning we came to the company, where they told us that the money would not be returned, because the car is in the dust, so we drove off-road and it is our fault in the car’s breakdown. Complete nonsense, we drove only on the roads. These unscrupulous crooks give broken cars and steal money!
