CARETTA PARADISE - Ζακυνθος

We were staying at this hotel from July 5th till July 19th 2021. We ordered a room with swim-up pool which was really great. The room was ok, cleaning was good, pool areas and aqua park for kids were quite nice. Food in the hotel canteen (I can't call that place a restaurant) was horrible, in fact so bad, that it made us question how the hotel could get 4-star rating????? Not once have we been lucky to get freshly baked bread for breakfast, instant coffee is a "mood killer" for the whole day, omlette tasted weird (my theory is that it's been cooked on the same oil they used to cook dinner the day before). Ended up eating at the hotel 2 days out of 14. We could never imagine that a 4-star hotel can serve such low quality food. We are not going to be staying there ever again. If you are temtepted by the swim-up pools idea, book a room alone without All inclusive. There is are plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants with super delicious food nearby.

Fantastic place, free alcohol, snack and ice cream. The staff is super friendly. Rooms kept clean. Enjoyed my time here with my family. Don’t forget to checkout their paradise private tours!

Swimming pools, aqua park, small football pitch, nice place to spend vacation

It is the best hotel on a Greek island. I recommend it for couples but also for families for unforgettable beautiful holidays. The staff is great, the food is great and you will find everything in the hotel that you do not want to go anywhere else. It has water slides for young and old, whirlpool, massage and much more! And most important of all, the purity encountered in this hotel I have not seen in any other hotel. Our holidays this year will be unforgettable!

Very poor stay, The food at dinner was awful, paid €5 for wifi however doesnt work, the shampoo dispenser has never been filled. Wouldn’t reccomend. Avoid

Perfect holiday for all the family rooms keeped clean staff all amazing food spot on ? only negative was the night time entertainment wasn't the best apart from the ABBA tribute band ? will be looking to go again

Just leaving now.. was mega apprehensive about coming after seeing the reviews over the last few years.. we arrived 10 days ago, once checked in a fabulous member of staff was waiting by reception to take our luggage to our room.. got to our room which was a swim up, spotlessly clean, fab location c block didn't get the sun in the morning but from 11am onwards was like a raging suntrap!! Which was exactly what we needed... jumped into the swim up, abs lush and clean, snack bar was open when we arrived. The Gyros are amazing, wasn't too keen on the other rolls but all personal preference.. the water park is a lot smaller than I imagined as per the pics, but again this actually saving traipsing half a mile around everything.. the slides were great for children and adults alike.... staff.. they were all fab, our room was cleaned everyday, however we did just grab towels off our cleaner a few days as there was no need for them to be cleaned every single day.. the food in the main hall was abs fine. Plenty of it. Some weird items to try, but dya know what we're in Greece, not back home!! Deserts.. Well thats another story, most items cream filly or cream based. Ooofff, I think I may have gained a few pounds there..!! . Location, slightly too off the beaten track for my liking, but we had a taxi into zante town for €17 each way to have a look around... trips. We did the turtles and shipwreck beach trips.. both were lush.. both DEF needed beach shoes as the beach is mega pebbly so all the inst pics you see online people have worked hard getting those pics as you can't stand properly without pract falling over lol.. Yes there is a payable bar and kids play area, cocktails about €7 and the bouncy castle is €9 but kids can stay on there as much as they want that evening. Drinks on the All inclusive, a little bog standard and not very strong, but it is what it is, I actually tipped so I asked for stronger drinks one day which knocked me sideways lol, so I just had normal drinks after that.. not sure what else to say really, we had a really good deal coming here, would I come again,?? Prob not, nothing to do with the hotel, just location wise I'd like to be able to access a bit more than a couple of boat trips.. but great for families, ..

This hotel has the nicest staff I encountered so far in Greece, one can really feel welcome there. Food was tasty and varied, rooms were spacious, tidy and well maintained (albeit sound insulation was lacking). The aquapark is great fun for both kids and parents.
