Plaza Nisiotissa, between Neos Pirgos and Agiokampos, Evia. Beautiful. There is a beach with umbrellas and deck chairs. Closer to the rocks and the island are 2 more coves, then the beach. You can swim to the island.

Χρονολογείται την εποχή της Φραγκοκρατίας, τον 13ο ή τον 14ο αιώνα.
Πιθανόν να ήταν βίγλα αλλά δεν αποκλείεται να πρόκειται για φράγκικο εκκλησάκι ή να ήταν απλά ένας μύλος.
Ο Αυστριακός αρχαιολόγος και έγκυρος μελετητής των οχυρώσεων της Εύβοιας Johannes Koder (1973) θεωρεί ότι πρόκειται για εκκλησία χτισμένη σε δύο διαφορετικές περιόδους.
On the rocky islet "Monastiri" a few meters from the shore there are the ruins of a medieval building whose use is not exactly known.
It dates back to the Frankish era, in the 13th or 14th century.
It may have been a vigil, but it is possible that it was a Frankish church or just a mill.
The Austrian archaeologist and authoritative scholar of the fortifications of Evia Johannes Koder (1973) considers that it is a church built in two different periods.
