★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die kleine Kapelle liegt mitten in der Natur und ist nur zu Fuß oder über eine kleine, einspurige Straße zu erreichen. Jährlich am 08. Mai findet eine Feier mit Musik, Getränken und kleinen Speisen statt, zu der viele Einwohner der umliegenden Gemeinden kommen. Touristen sind da kaum anzutreffen, dürfen aber gern teilnehmen!
 The small chapel is located in the middle of nature and can only be reached on foot or via a small, one-lane road. Every year on the 8th of May there is a celebration with music, drinks and small meals, to which many inhabitants of the surrounding communities come. Tourists are hardly to be found there, but are welcome to participate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This unpretentious little church won't detain you for long (unless it happens to be the day of the annual festival) but the path that leads past, from Agios Demetrios down to Agios Ioannis, takes you through some utterly lovely landscape. Steep, wooded, and packed with nature, the views change at each turn of the track. Sometimes you're looking over a beautiful coastline, sometimes up towards one of the ridges of Mt Pelion, and often the horizon narrows to the nature at your feet. It really is a wonderful and quite easy stroll (though walking in the opposite direction, up from Agios Ioannis, it climbs around a thousand feet and might not be quite so easy!).
