★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb spot. The guys there are super friendly and the food is really cheap and very good. The water nice and clear. This is really a man made beach. For my taste I really liked the staid down to the beach. A nice workout!

Here you can expect during the week days a very quite beach with a nice bar. There are a lot of comments that is expensive but if you compare it to the surrounding beaches it is about 10-20% more expensive (sunbeds 7€).
When it comes to beach itself after some stairs you reach a tiny beach with small stones instead of sand and simply a beautiful view! On your right hand the whole city of Heraklion and on your left hand a venetian Fortress! Simply amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice beach with bar providing good drinks, good coffee and some snacks like sandwiches, souvlaki, salads with a nice terrace and music. I recommend everyone to come here, Michaelis is nice as well.
Sunbeds with umbrellas available for 7 € (2 beds incl umbrella). Pebble beach, crystal clear water, really nice for snorkeling especially to the left. We saw crabs, baby barracuda, swarms of fish (thousands!!), rocks forming caverns etc.
Not too crowded and mostly visited by locals. Accessible only by (good in shape) stairs down the rocks, parking at the cafe upstairs.
They do have toilets, but only upstairs in the cafe

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Secluded place, a little piece of blue paradise, with a nice beach bar and great spot not too crowded.
We discovered it on the way back to the airport, and it was the best idea ever to enjoy one last bath and a shower before taking off this paradise island also know as Kreta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful beach close to Heraklion. Pebble stone beach but it's easy to step into the water. Organized with affordable umbrellas and a bar with drinks and food. Mostly frequented by locals. You need a car to park at the parking lot. From there it's a few stairs down to the beach. Super Charming compared to many beaches in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice beach with stones and a taverna. You need to take about 50 stairs down and up from the parking but it is manageable. Clear water and only a few people. This is my spot :)
