Fanivevis Garden - Chora Folegandros Chora

Τη πρώτη μέρα που φτάσαμε συναντήσαμε 2 ζωύφια κάτω από το μαξιλάρι και μυρμήγκια στην τουαλέτα, ξυπνήσαμε μέσα στο βράδυ με μια αράχνη στα μαλλιά μου και στην συνέχεια μια αράχνη πίσω από το ψυγείο σαφώς και δεν κοιμηθήκαμε το πρώτο βράδυ. το επόμενο πρωί καλούμε την οικοδέσποινα ώστε να βρεθεί μια λύση με τα παραπάνω, η απάντηση ήταν «σε νησί ήρθατε λογικό να δείτε 2-3 ζωύφια» (έχοντας ταξιδέψει σε πολλά νησιά και σε βουνά αυτό δεν το έχω συναντήσει) αυτό που μας πρότεινε λοιπόν ήταν να γίνει ακύρωση με επιστροφή χρημάτων (βδομάδα 15αγουστου ξέροντας ότι δεν θα βρούμε πουθενά άλλου) είπαμε λοιπόν να καθαρίσει το δωμάτιο, σηκώσαμε το στρώμα του κρεβατιού και δεν μπορείτε να φανταστείτε τι γινόταν από κάτω, ωστόσο ένα συγνώμη μέχρι στιγμή δεν είχαμε ακούσει, καθαρίζουν λοιπόν το δωμάτιο και ρίχνει και ένα σπρέι (τυπου αεροζολ). Δεν μας άρεσε καθόλου η συμπεριφορά μετά το περιστατικό, επικοινωνήσαμε λοιπόν με την booking με άψογη εξυπηρέτηση από εκεί όπου μας καθοδήγησαν στην λύση και στα δικαιώματα μας, έτσι λοιπόν επικοινώνησε η booking με το κατάλληλα, ξανά έγινε καθαρισμός και έκπτωση περίπου 20% για να την αναστάτωση. φυσικά τις επόμενες μέρες δεν μας μιλούσαν και δυστυχώς συνέχισαν να υπάρχουν ζωύφια στο δωμάτιο. (Ευτυχώς τα έχουμε βγάλει φωτογραφεία) Κλείνοντας τα αλλά 2 αρνητικά είναι ότι δεν υπάρχει κλιματιστικό και ζεστό νερό μόνο με θερμοσίφωνα όπου βρισκόταν έξω από το δωμάτιο. Η χειρότερη μου εμπειρία σε κατάλυμα και η πρώτη φορά που γράφω σχόλιο. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ την booking για την άμεση εξυπηρέτηση!!

Too expensive for what they offer. Unprofessionals & poorly maintained facilities.

We booked online a twin room with garden view for 5nights and paid half of the amount in front. When we arrived the room had an intensive smell between detergent and mould. Also, there were plastic bottles of water behind the toilet, incase there was a water outage. We cancelled the reservation eventhough we lost the deposit.

We loved everything, comfortable, clean, and close to the center.

When we came the location was wrong both in Google Maps and Booking. I asked google to correct it. It is in a intersection leaving the town, just in front of the bus stop. The building is easy to find as it is the only not white in the area (check the photos). We had to pay 50% in advance and 50% there in cash. The house is nice and the rooms are ok to stay a few days.

We spent our main part of holidays by staying 6 nights there, during August 2021. - The room was too small (probably a former storage room transformed into bedroom…), too noisy and with no privacy at all since its entrance was in the yard. - The bed was awful. We did not manage to sleep continuously any of the nights , since it was making noise even when we just tried to change position. - The bathroom was also too small , as the rest part … Overall : Highly overpriced place by not offering even the basics…Please stay away in order not to experience unpleasant moments as we did. It’s really shame to feel that way after leaving an amazing island like Folegandros.

Our room was quite big however it didn’t have main amenities such as clean towels, clean bed sits and no air-condition. There was no privacy with the owner entering our room once without even knocking. Moreover, when we returned after an hour unexpectedly we found our window wide open - allowing anyone to jump in our room at any point and steal money, jewelleries etc. You could barely have a shower as the water was not running properly and overall not clean at all. Unfortunately our initial booking was cancelled and we had no other choice but please stay away from this hotel. Extra bonus the spider on my pillow..

Everything turned out nicely for me and my partner during our stay in this old traditional house. The room was lovely and very cleaned. We also enjoyed the afternoon conversations with the host Kaiti who is an old lady who has traveled all over the world. At first was a bit distant but after a while we shared beautiful memories.
