Christina Beach - Selinou 114

This review is based on a 3 night stay in one of the two roof top split-level studios (150 euro per night when booked). Treat you and your partner to some nights in this two-floor studio (it could accomodate 4 but as there are two bed "areas" as it is compact, but not small) The USP is a superb roof top terrace overlooking the beach WITH a 3 person hot tub. On the terrace are two cushioned chairs, two cushioned loungers and a drinks table as well as a large parasol. The apartment is the best equipped we've come across in Crete so far. You'll easily be able to make breakfast and lunch. Coffee, water and a bottle of red were supplied on arrival. Two new a/c units. A safe and TV for each bed area (this is a studio, twin beds in main room, up some steep metals stairs is a double with access to the terrace). You could easily spend a long weekend here with just the restaurant visit to interrupt your stay. Brilliant!

Amazing place. Great service, very hospitable. Great view to the beach from the room. A great advantage in the vicinty to the beach.

Our favorite beach spot in Chania. Great drink prices (especially at happy hour!), quiet beach, and great staff. Recommended!

Excellent place to stay. Extraordinary staff and owners. Clean, comfortable, tasty. By the beach, next to the promenade, nearby city border (for a nick walk or run). Outstanding bar and bartender. I will be back :-)

I loved my stay at Christina Beach Hotel. The location is perfect! It's right on the beach and I fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. Just 5 meters from the hotel you can find the main strip and lots of great restaurants. The staff at the hotel are all super friendly and accomodating, very pleasant and hospitable. I will gladly stay there again and will recommend this hotel to anyone that is visiting Chania.

After a long research, this hotel became a perfect combination of a great location in walking proximity (15 minutes) to the very centre of Chania old town, immediate access to the beach, beautifully designed rooms that are cleaned spotless, and swimming pool. One of my favorite features was the fact that around 20 restaurants with great reviews were within 2-3 minutes walking distance. Amazing fresh fish and seafood with local owners that are trying hard to compete and impress. Another great feature was that our one bedroom suite had a beautiful terrace with the table, chairs and umbrella overlooking the beach. You can enjoy the view and the sea breeze without leaving your hotel room. We were greeted with a bottle of red wine, and overall the service at the hotel was very nice. The kitchen is very well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, regular brewed coffee coffee maker, toaster, utensils, pots etc. I highly recommend the one bedroom suite as it has one nice shower and a separate bathtub closer to the living room. Right next to the hotel is a bar and snack/breakfast area, as well as a diving center. During my search for hotels, I was curious about the fitness center mentioned on the booking.com website: there were no photos so that is why I would like to add some clarity to those of you looking to have a workout. The fitness room is located in a basement area and is accessed with a key obtained at reception. The room is around 30+ square meters (~300 square feet) has a working elliptical, bike, weights, exercise mat, 2 treadmills (did not check if they worked), one electric rower (one pedal’s strap was torn so it was hard for me to fully engage in exercise) and 4-5 stations for different types of muscles. Whereas I personally had a great workout with elliptical, weights, and exercise mat, my husband did not like the stations four different types of muscles at all as, he said, most of them were broken. Regardless of the fitness center which I simply wanted to add clarity about, I would hands down recommend this hotel to anyone, what a lovely place with so many things to do in close proximity.
