Best Church in Greece

La chiesetta e tutta l’area attorno sono sempre visitabili; chiudete il cancello quando uscite per evitare che entrino le capre a fare danni. Vale la pena fare quel piccolo sforzo sul sentiero ( circa 30 metri di dislivello) per godere della fantastica vista e della pace e tranquillità del luogo. Lookout point on the southern coast of Crete. The little church and the whole surrounding area can always be visited; close the gate when you go out to prevent them from entering the goats to do damage. It's worth the little extra effort on the path (about 30 meters in altitude) to enjoy the fantastic views and peace and tranquility.

P	Peter Orfankos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from up here towards Loutro and the Libyan sea are just incredible. It’s a tiny hike up to the church from the parking (not that many spaces). But it’s all worth it when you get to the top, the view is just incredible.

Wonderful views of the White Mountains, coast, Loutro village just below. The small church worth visiting as well (requires unlocking, key is there). In mid July 2020, I was there completely alone -- a really extraordinary moment.
B	Bob Arnott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fay and I trekked down to Fenix from here. Great walk but stop if you want to admire the view as its like walking on marbles in places. Great little walk but do take water with you as there is little shade at the top anyway.
