★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best of Greek salads - tomatoes that taste like strawberries, sweet red and green peppers, cheese to die for and more - lamb from the oven that melts in the mouth. And the wine! When you ask for red you get the best - real village wine from the barrel, which is BROWN!!! Cannot recommend this taverna more highly :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved our meal here - great family taverna. Recommend the fava, mini cheese pies with honey and homemade sausage. With the raki and yogurt with strawberries they gave us at the end it made for a perfect meal.

Besides driving us to the trail starting point and picking us up, we got a very good recommendation for an alternative hike (since the one we wanted to do was closed due to snow). Will definitely use their services again when we come back to these mountains.
We also ate at the taverna and the food was delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the hidden gems of Crete...Tasty comfort food made with a lot of love and care with local products and traditional recipes. The experience at the family taverna will be the perfect end of your mountain adventure at Λευκά Όρη or after a sunny day at one of the nearby beaches. Highly recommend the variety of local cheeses with dash of honey or home made quince or chilli pepper marmalade and the fava and gigantes.
