β β β β β There are some interesting artifacts and historical context (written in Greek and English) in this museum, but the main impression on entering and looking around is that this is a modern space without a lot in it. The exhibits are quite widely spaced and nicely presented, but for me there needs to be a lot more to look at! It is a small museum, very contemporary. There is a shop by the entrance and pleasant staff. Only 6 euros to enter, but don't expect to be there for long! A nice, fairly short diversion on a hot day.
I missed the sign which was small and not very noticeable, I went straight past it and wandered along the coast road for a bit before retracing my steps to find the entrance in the side street. I was expecting a grand portico with Museum of Corfu carved in stone over the top. LOL! It's not like that.

β β β β β Entrance is 6 euro per person and free for kids. The museum is not big but you will definitely find some interesting things to see.
Also to cool down from the heat in mid day.

β β β β β Very good museum for those interested in history and archeology. Clear, bright, well organized and documented. Some great pieces found in Corfu island. Explanations in Greek and English only. A bit off touristic city center, so you will have to walk 10 to 15 minutes to get there from the old fortress.

β β β β β Small but lovely museum full of interesting art works . Loved the remains of the Aphrodite temple and the big Gorgon sculpture. The souvenir shop had some cool t shirts . Perfect for a rainy morning. Very good location not far from Spianada. I bought the combined ticket for the old castle and the Asian art museum and it was worth it.
