Very bad service of transfer to the airport A bus that goes through 9-10 stops.... 0 service

Cancelled transport last minute by email in the middle of the night after making us change the day to suit them. I'm appalled by this service and would tell anyone to avoid it

Cretan Holidays is doing a great job and 1 of the best destination services I know. They are always welcoming and helping in every case. Thanks for everything

They deserve less than one star. We prepaid a private car service through Cretan via Expedia, and they left us stranded at a remote airport. After calling them several times over the course of an hour, they were not able to get a hold of their local driver, and we had to pay another service to transport us. When we followed up with Expedia, Cretan Holidays denied us a refund... even though we were unable to use their services due to an error on their part. This company is awful. Beware.

I booked and paid for two tours with this company 6 months ago for my wife and I to do. I have arranged flights from overseas and scheduled my trip around doing these tours. But just 3 days beforehand Cretan Holidays cancelled my booking. In other countries this kind of false advertising is illegal. You've been warned, anything they say cannot be trusted. Do not use this company.

One month ago, We had booked an afternoon Volcano crater tour with hot springs swim at Thirassia with Cretan Holidays through Expedia supposedly for today July 25. The tour voucher we printed out says the tour starts at 1:15pm. However, my wife received an email from Sophia Doulgeraki with cc’ed message to Eleni Bathianaki saying that we will be picked up instead at 14.40h. My wife emailed them back several times making sure it is not 1340h or 1:40pm as the voucher says 1:15 pm. They confirmed it as 1440. Today we decided to go early at 1400h or 2pm and waited for the bus. By 2:45 pm there was no bus so we called Cretan holidays and spoke to Eleni who initially said she will check and call us back. We didn’t get called back so we called again and she asked us if we were there on time. We told her that we were there since 2pm waiting for the bus to pass by at 2:40 by none came. She said that she is sending the driver to pick us up again and to wait for a few minutes. Another 10 minutes came by and we called her and ask if we were going to get picked up. She finally admitted that the tour had started at 1:40 pm and not 2:40 like they had emailed us. Not only if they completely lie to us. She was also trying to compensate us with some other tour which we already had taken. Since this was our last day in the island, we couldn’t do this tour again. This just completely ruined our vacation. We expect no less than a complete refund and an apology for their ineptitude. We would therefore NOT recommend this company to anyone. We have already written Expedia about this and hope they don’t deal with this inexperienced company.

They arranged a tour for us, where after a long journey to the place of interest, the local sightseeing bus left without us. We complained about it afterwards, but we were told that we need to prove that it's not our fault that we were left behind. To be fair, it was a partner company of Cretan Holidays who was at fault, but I was expecting better service when addressing our complaint. The case is not closed yet, I will update the rating depending on the outcome.

A horrible experience. We booked a tour to Paxos several weeks before we got Corfú. The company sent us an email which confirmed our booking and our hotel as the the pick up point and the time of departure at 8 am. We did not ever received any further information of them. To make sure of the time and pick up point we tried to call them the day before but they didn’t answer. The day of the trip we were at the hotel waiting for the bus and as they were very delayed we started calling them. First of all it was very difficult to contact and they didn’t know where was the bus that had to pick us up. Thanks to the hotel staff who help us, we finally spoke to a lady who told us that the bus has left without us because the pick up point was outside the hotel and it had been there at 7:40 but nobody saw it, they didn’t call the hotel or went inside.. unbearable, they told us we have missed the trip and it was our fault and that they have sent us an email with the right hour but that’s not true.. I’m sure the bus was never at the hotel because they didn’t even know about this booking first time we called,.. They told us lies and ruined one of our most wanted trip. If I could I’d informed against them to the authorities. We’ve travelled a lot and have booked another tours before and we hadn’t got this kind of experience. Of course I don’t recommend any trip or activity with this company.
