★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Millions big thumb for Dili-Dili! We visited there twice and even celebrated our birthday there with full of humor and such down to earth owner Giannis! Perfect Deli food ! Apaki, country sausage are a must to order. Homemade and charcoal grill with own herbs and spices! We also pre ordered moussaka and baklava. Tasted so authentic and simply blew our minds! We even got chance to spend some precious times drinking and chatting with Giannis. It definitely lighted up our whole evening and the journey in Crete ! Hope to see you soon Giannis!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a friendly and nice place in the main square of Melidoni. The owner and the waitresses are super nice and professional. The restaurant has very tasty meat and also show football matches. It is a must-to-try if you are in this side of the island. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Giannis is a magnificent person. Had some great evenings here. The BEST food ever, if you want local -> this is the BEST local food you can have. Great atmosphere, in this cute little town! Surely visiting again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really authentic welcoming venue which attracts locals and tourists alike. It feels like a slice of the real deal. Not posh, not pretentious so what's not to like? You won't find a warmer or funnier host in Jannis, and as we stayed locally he offered to make us something off menu. The menu also worked well for our teenagers with their less adventurous palates. Why not combine with a vist to the fab honey exhibit up the road (best honey ever!)?
