O	Olivia Murray on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed to give this place 3 stars as it could have been 5. Food was good, large portions and good value, however the waiter who served us seemed more focused on everyone but us. He basically threw the dishes down on the other side of the table, didn’t bother to remove the empty plates we were quite obviously finished with after our starter. He then ignored us for the rest of the evening which was unfortunate because the owner (I think) was so so nice but clearly had her own tables to look after. I noticed a few other tables around us waiting a long time to get their bills. The tables next to the water are quite exposed on a windy evening and it can be hard to keep things from blowing away but obviously they can’t control the weather and we did get moved to another table with a heater beside it later in the evening. Can be cold in the evening as you’re right on the bay so keep in mind, they do provide blankets which is a nice touch.
M	Michael Beausoleil on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walk through all shore restaurants to find this end Gem. Courteous staff make Dimitris a wonderful spot to catch lunch, and your breath, after the stairs. Excellent selection of seafood. Great taverna to visit. Fun note, Dimitris is 'Jim' in English.
T	Trina Anderson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were amazing. If our table were any closer to the water, we would have been in the Aegean. Highly recommend the seafood linguine with the cream sauce. There are several sauce options, so make sure to ask for the cream sauce. Several people recommended it to us as one of the best dishes ever, and after tasting it, we strongly agree. Fresh shrimp, clams, mussels, scallops all perfectly grilled to perfection onsite before being added to the sauce. Make reservations well in advance of your trip if coming to Santorini in the summer months. Wonderful dining experience.

It was extremely busy night we visited and only two staff members when we went first week of May and we waited a long time for anyone to greet and seat us. Wait for menu’s, drinks and food again a ridiculous length of time - BUT the views, ambience and food made up for it. You get a pick of the fresh fish/seafood in their kitchen. Overall, long waits likely due to staffing issues but still would recommend.
C	Casper S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic place to have lunch or dinner and watch the sunset (I imagine). We took the plunge and walked down here from Oia, totally worth it! Had a beautiful table where we had a delicious fresh red snapper for lunch, together with a beer and a wine while we enjoyed the view. You are literally half a meter away from the water. Friendly service too and for a fair price. Only the walk back up was quite intense… avoid if you have weak knees ?
L	Luna Garden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I shared the gilthead bream butterfly style with grilled zucchini and rice - best fish I’ve ever had! We also got the mussels and house white wine. The large wine pitcher size was way too much for us light drinkers, very dry. The view at sunset was lovely and our waiter Armando was amazing! Many cute and sweet cats as well.

It has stunning views of the bay if you get a table right on the edge. We tried the taramasalata, the spicy cheese dip, calamari, and the seafood linguine. The linguine was the best pasta we've ever had. Strongly recommend the white cream sauce over the red! Flavors were so rich and left us craving more. You've got a few different options in Ammoudi. Our vote goes to Dimitris.

The server was very knowledgeable and also gave great advice for what else to do on the island. The place in the bay is amazing. If you are on time or make a reservation you can sit right next to the water.
