Great place to watch the sunrise and get some nice photos. It's just a viewing point on some nice walls. You don't need a ticket or anything. We went on a Thursday evening in early May. It was very packed but you should be able to find a spot. We walked along 10 minutes before the sunset and stopped multiple times for photos. There are also lots of shops on the lead up to it where you can get some reasonably priced drinks.

Oia is the most beautiful villages you will ever see. It's iconic white buildings with Agean blue domes are perched high up with breathtaking views.

Accidentally stumbled across this gem while walking the streets of Santorini into Oia. A perfect small hike to end or start your day. Amazing views can been seen from here. Please don't miss this!!

Fantastic viewpoint to see all of Oia from and to watch the sunset. In summer it gets heaving but we visited in May so was relatively quiet. Very expensive area for food and drinks.

Probably one of the best views in Santorini. If you want to see the sunset or sunrise, be sure to ask your hotel at what time exactly these are. If you want to take pictures of the sunset, you should probably go there early, because there will be a lot of people. Take water with you, since waiting there can get hot.

These ruins of a fort on a hilltop offer one of the best views of Oia, a village in Santorini and the amazing sunset view. Make sure you get here at least an hour before sunset to secure a good spot or your view would be blocked by huge crowds. After the sun disappears from the horizon, the village is glowing in the dark.

Best place to watch the sunset in Oia. But beware that it gets super crowded. We reached there close to 2 hours before sunset and managed to grab some of the last good spots. Go early, get your own snacks and drinks and enjoy the views while waiting for that perfect sunset. If you have some spare time also make a pit stop during the day to check out the castle ramparts and remains.

Perfect place for the stunning sunset. Bring your wine and enjoy most beautiful sunset in the world. However, it’s really crowded, so you should come early to find a good spot for watching the sunset.
