★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Δονούσα είναι ένα μαγευτικό νησί,είναι το βοριότερο των μικρών ανατολικών κυκλάδων.Εχει τρείς οικισμούς τον Σταυρό, την Καλοταρίτισσα και την Μερσίνη.Για τους λάτρεις της πεζοπορίας εχει καλά διατηρημένα μονοπάτια που οδηγουν στις παραλιες οπως τα μονοπάτια Νο 5 που οδηγεί απο τον Σταυρό στην Λίμνη μια όμορφη μικρή παραλία που μοιάζει με λίμνη, Νο 3 που οδηγεί απο το Μερσίνη στην παραλία Λιβάδι, Νο 2 που οδηγεί απο Μεσσαριά στην πανέμορφη παραλία του Κέδρου.
Donoussa is a magnificent island, is the northernmost of the small eastern Cyclades. It has three settlements: Stavros, Kalotaritissa and Mersini. in the lake a beautiful little lake-like beach, No 3 leading from Mersini to Livadi beach, No 2 leading from Messaria to the beautiful beach of Kedros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un'sola stupenda, dove ho passato quindici giorni bellissimi. Non semplicissima da raggiungere, otto ore di traghetto da Atene non sono poche, ma una volta arrivati è un piccolo paradiso. Una spiaggia comoda, sotto casa, e un mare cristallino. Poca gente - parlo di settembre - e quiete. Non ci sono discoteche e musiche chiassose. Unico neo, il campeggio libero: proibito ma tollerato, che essendo praticato in zone dove non ci sono servizi finisce per sporcare l'isola.
Camere un po' più care di altre isole: ma andare in quest'isola è un piccolo viaggio indietro nel tempo che merita la spesa.
Spero di tornarci.
A beautiful island, where I spent fifteen beautiful days. Not easy to reach, eight hours by ferry from Athens are not a few, but once you arrive it is a small paradise. A comfortable beach near the house and a crystal clear sea. Few people - I'm talking about September - and quiet. There are no discos and noisy music. The only drawback, free camping: prohibited but tolerated, which being practiced in areas where there are no services ends up dirtying the island.
Rooms a little more expensive than other islands: but going to this island is a little trip back in time that is worth the expense.
Hope to go back.

Tours can be arranged from other nearby islands of Cyclades islands complex, "The small Cyclades" islands as they called (Amorgos, Sxinousa, Iraklia, Koufonisi) or from the island of Naxos.
