T	Till Rumohr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very chique Hotel that managed to retain it's 60ies (high-end) charm blending it with all the modern amenities of a boutique hotel. Really modern and functional bathrooms with walk-in showers and well designed furniture. It just stands out as refreshingly stylish compared with the other places of the same (or slightly higher) price range. Great view! Also, great marble/terrazzo floors! : ) Seems like the owner is fond of road cycling, so there's a whole other reason to go there, rent a serious road bike and be off to the Lasithi Plateau...
R	Renee Rigby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely Loved our stay here in Du Lac Hotel. They are open all year round which is brilliant as everything is closed during the Off Season. The staff were exceptional, very informative, friendly, welcoming and catered to my needs as i am heavly pregnant. The rooms are stunning, open and spacious. We had a beautiful balcony over looking the lake. Small kitchen was provided in our room but was exactly what we needed. Bathroom was spacious and exceptionally clean, the only negative as the toilet was built so close to the wall you would sit on an angle which is kinda funny! But not the best if you need a number 2 ? We were right in the centre of Agios Nikolous and it was perfect we had resturants around us, shops and supermarket close by. Everyone in the area was so kind and interested in getting to know you which i love. My family and i really loved staying here at this hotel and loved the village we stayed in, it was the best part of our family trip.
N	NeoGeo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel! It's perfectly located bang slap in the centre of town. You're a two minute walk from the lake and restaurants. In terms of value, its superb. We've stayed at Du Lac twice and it wont be the last. In July it cost about 350 euros for 5 nights. The room is spacious. I highly recommend paying a bit extra for a lake view with a balcony. See if you can spot the sea turtle in the lake. Air con works perfectly and the room is quiet at night. The only downside is we both found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable after 5 days. I think 2 weeks there could be a bit much but for a short break it's perfect. In addition theres a lovely bar/cafe below where you can go for a drink. Either side is great. The back is overlooking the lake and the front is in the street. Great for people watching. The drinks are excellent as well. I recommend the Dark and Stormy!

Smoking neighbours on other balconies made us leave our balcony a few times due to lots of smoke... The balcony railings are very thick, which impedes amazing view over the lake when sitting at the balcony table.

We arrived at the agreed time (15.00) just to hear that the room needed 2 hours to be prepared and we should go and have a bath to spend our time. I am sorry but this is not a way to do business in one of the most touristic areas

The room was big with a massive bed, the bathroom was good and we had a balcony with brilliant view over the lake which was perfect for breakfast or a few drinks before going out in the evening. While the town itself is such a nice location, much more picturesque than most Greek towns and there's lots to do within such close proximity. All in all an excellent choice.
N	Nikolay Nikolov on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view to the lake, but that's all. It is old hotel, just a bit renovated. The bath is not separated from the room with a normal door but with a piece of plastic cover, so stupid. The bed and other room facilities are fine. The staff is polite and good.
