D	DOCTOR MOUSE on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Ηετιώνεια Πύλη αποτελούσε μεγάλο οχυρωματικό έργο στην εποχή του, χωρίς ιδιαίτερη αυλή, που όμως δέσποζε του αρχαίου λιμένα, αριστερά του εισερχομένου, λόγω ακριβώς του βραχώδους υψώματος που είχε ανεγερθεί. Έφερε δίφυλλη θύρα πλάτους 3,70 μ, ανάμεσα σε δύο πύργους διαμέτρου περίπου 10 μ. Το μέτωπο της πύλης προστατεύονταν από προτείχισμα και από μια μεγάλη σκαμμένη τάφρο πλάτους 3,5 μ. που μπροστά στην πύλη στένευε στα 1,80 όπου και υπήρχε ξύλινη κινητή γέφυρα, που στηρίζονταν σε κτιστούς πεσσούς The Annual Gate was a large fortification project in its time, without a special courtyard, but it dominated the ancient port, to the left of the entrance, due to the rocky hill that had been erected. Έχει περιποιημένες διαδρομές και προσφέρεται για έναν περίπατο με στάση στα παγκάκια στο κιόσκι και εξαιρετική θέα στο λιμάνι του Πειραιά. Υπάρχουν επεξηγηματικες πινακίδες που γράφουν απλά και συνοπτικά για την ιστορία των αρχαίων οχυρωσεων .Σίγουρα ο χώρος είναι ανοιχτός την Κυριακή. Όπως κάθε μέρος στην Ελλάδα αισθάνεσαι την αύρα της πολλής ιστορίας που έχει!!Αξίζει να πας !!Επίσης να σημειωθεί ότι η είσοδος είναι ελεύθερη. An unknown small, beautiful archeological site in Drapetsona above the port. It has manicured routes and is offered for a walk with a stop on the benches in the kiosk and excellent views of the port of Piraeus. There are explanatory signs that write simply and concisely about the history of the ancient fortifications. Definitely the place is open on Sunday. Like every place in Greece you feel the aura of the many stories it has !! It is worth going !! Also note that the entrance is free.
E	Eleni Artikou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ανακαλυψα αυτη την τοποθεσια γυρω στο 2001 που καναμε καποια βολτα με τους γονεις μου και περασαμε απο εκει.Μεχρι τοτε δεν ηξερα οτι η Δραπετσωνα εχει αρχαια.Η δικη μου Δραπετσωνα!!!!Ηθελα να ξαναπαω καποτε και να φωτογραφησω τον αρχαιολογικο χωρο.Ειναι και ωραιο μερος για βολτα.Ελπιζω να μπω και μεσα,για να δω τον χωρο χωρις τα καγκελα.Δεν ξερω αν ανοιγει και ποτε.Φωτογραφησα και για το we heart it.Το μεσο κοινωνικης δικτυωσης. I discovered this location around 2001 when we made some excursions with my parents and we passed from there. Until then I did not know that Drapetsona has antiquities. My own Draperon !!!! I wanted to go back and photograph the archaeological site. and a nice part for a volley. I'm hoping to go in and in, to see the place without the chanels. I do not know if it opens and ever. We also photographed about it. It's the middle of social networking.
