B	Benjamin Loi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Boote sind zwar nicht die neusten, aber man kann ein bisschen handeln :-) Für 1 Std Boot fahren haben wir dann 60€ bezahlt. Ps: Man braucht keinen Schein damit man selbst fahren kann bzw darf. The boats are not the newest, but you can act a bit :-) For 1 hour boat ride we paid 60 €. Ps: You do not need a ticket so that you can drive yourself.
P	P F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extrem freundlicher Empfang von einem bärtigen Mann (Name leider unbekannt), der sehr ruhig und sachlich die Spots an der Küste und die Regeln (Einhaltung von Abstand etc.) erklärt. Dann geht's ans Boot zu George: Er fährt ein Stück mit uns raus und erklärt die Funktionen des Bootes und führt den Anker vor. Außerdem gab George hilfreiche Tipps für die erste Fahrt. Danach durften wir George zeigen, dass wir aufmerksam zugehört hatten: Wir brachten ihn zurück an Land und los gings :) Wir hatten uns im Vorfeld einige Bootsverleihe angeschaut. Dieser hier ist mit Abstand der günstigste. Wir haben 145€ für 3 Std. mit dem kleinen Motor (25PS) bezahlt, 4 Std. hätten 170€ gekostet. Klar ist das immer noch viel Geld, aber es war jeden Cent wert. Kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen an Dank George und den bärtigen Mann :) Extremely friendly reception from a bearded man (name unfortunately unknown), who very calmly and objectively explains the spots on the coast and the rules (keeping a safe distance, etc.). Then it's off to George on the boat: He drives us out a little and explains the functions of the boat and demonstrates the anchor. George also gave helpful tips for the first trip. Then we were allowed to show George that we had listened carefully: We brought him back to shore and off we went :) We had looked at some boat rentals in advance. This one is by far the cheapest. We paid 145 € for 3 hours with the small engine (25PS), 4 hours would have cost 170 €. Sure, that's still a lot of money, but it was worth every penny. I can recommend it without reservation. Many thanks to George and the bearded man :)

Zustand des Bootes und Einweisung gut. Fair prices Response to booking request within a few hours. There was even a knowledge of German and English anyway. Great area around Spinalonga! The condition of the boat and instruction are good.

I was in contact with Angelos by email for 2 months. He was the owner of the rentals. You may want to contact him early so he can tell you what days are better with low winds and adjust your itinerary to the winds. Our skipper was George. He loved to talk about the Greek history. He was philosophical and a true believer of nature. He loves his job and our family loved listening to him speak. He took us anywhere we wanted to go. It was pretty windy but we still managed to get to several beaches reachable mostly by boat. We were early enough to make it to another beach before the tour boats came. We stayed by seagull island for a bit. It was Lovely 4 hour day.
