Elpida Resort & Spa - Exochon 12

Great place. Friendly services. Nice for families. Two stars down for a major problem with my room door. Kept triggering the alarm and no help for the reception. They did offere to shift us to another room but that's not a good idea near midnight when you are trying to sleep and you have a child. I had to sleep with my door open. There was no one that could fix that doors alarm and the problem should not have been there in the first place in such an hotel. The breakfast was really nice. The waitress very helpful and nice. Food was perfect. The swimming pool very nice too. There are many restaurants and cafes and an open cinema around the corner. Mind the elevators especially for the youngsters. The IR eye that stops it from closing with somebody in between does not function. A small child could hurt. Also the level of the elevator was not kept constant while on a floor.

The hotel was really nice and the personnel was very pleasant, kind and cheerful. The breakfast was excellent, although I don't personally think much of a machine served coffee in a luxurious hotel. Apart from that the breakfast was indeed great. We had some other troubles though. We visited this place as part of a professional obligation, in an effort to combine it with our first family weekend escape with our young son. We didn't care about the spa or the rest of the facilities the hotel had to offer. The rooms were ok, but they definitely need some maintenance! The door in our room was really hard to lock, so our son could easily escape in the hallway, and when we finally had time to relax and managed to have him asleep, we would like to have a bath. It was only then that we realized that it was impossible to have a shower, because the bath tap was broken and we couldn't turn the water to run properly. It could be something easily solved if we didn't have a sleeping baby in the room, but under these circumstances it was impossible to have someone fixing it and so we didn't manage to have a shower at all during our stay. Last but not least, some guest were talking really loud on the corridor around 4.30 -5.30 in the morning, so that our son woke up and we couldn't get him to sleep because of the noise. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay, although I do realize that this doesn't have to do completely with the hotel management. Nevertheless, we paid a great amount of money for room that we could lock the door and we couldn't have a shower. So I believe that our stay was truly overpaid without even offering the basics.

Great hotel with all the required amenities One could ask for and for the price point it’s is great value, probably best value I’ve seen in Greece. Plenty of parking. Very large pool and even had a large child’s pool which was great for our family. Best fitness centre I have seen in any hotel in Greece with large selection of new modern equipment(for a hotel), spa and indoor pool. Only gripe was access to fitness centre only from 3pm! Come on guys, I know “Greek” time is to be expected in Greece, fitness training is mainly a morning thing in the rest of the world ?.

A beautiful resort, located in the mountains. The hotel is huge, it has 2 pools, a fitness center, spa, restaurant with delicious food and variety and a lounge bar with good wine. I definitely recommend this place, it's totally worth it.

No problems at all. Just regrets for not staying more days ? would go again easily for relaxing vacation

Great venue and food and hospitality for the conference I was attending. Really wonderful stay.

Even though I ended up not staying at the hotel due to a Covid related incident, I was extremely happy with the service and handling of the cancellation by the front desk.

Very nice resort with pool and spa. Big and clean rooms. A little far from the center. Weddings during weekends make some noise
