Our stay at this hotel was great. The location is so good,the staff(especially the receptioner) was friendly and the rooms were big and clean.

Hotel is very old, no charm, cheap, room was clean, good location near everything. Bathroom plumbing was a disaster, so expect very little and you will be ok. I give 2 stars for location and convenience.

Old fashioned building since 1934 but I liked it very much. High ceilings interiors , clean rooms, bathroom should be improved a bit

It's an old building but the interior is modern, the location is good and there is usually a spot to park around and put a business cardof the hotel on your dash, if you can't find where to park ask the receptionist and he will help you. The staff is overall very kind and helpful whenever you need them. There were some downsides, for example the water when showering was warm but not hot and the door handle of the bathroom came off, however because of the service, location, price, cleanliness etc. This stays an overall 5 stars experience and I would recommend. Also try something from the bakery downstairs, they have amazing stuff

Hotel Metropolis is the best place to stay in Serres or anywhere in Greece for that fact. I was in a tight spot when I came to Greece. I couldn't cross the Bulgarian Border because of a technicality and had to stay in Greece, not knowing the country as it was my first time here and not knowing where I was going to stay while my problem was solved and in fact not knowing when my problem would be solved. The staff here was beyond excellent in helping me with everything. Accommodations were on a day to day basis, NO PROBLEM FOR THEM. Then I stayed 10 days, NO PROBLEM. Then another 4 days, NO PROBLEM. My problem was finally resolved after a 15 day stay at Hotel Metropolis and I must say it was great, despite my situation. The staff at the front desk greeted me every morning when I went out for coffee with a handshake and a smile. Asked me about my problem. Friendly people and I truly call them friends after this. The rooms are great. A real home feeling compared to other hotels I have stayed at. The price is perfect and if you want breakfast, which I wish I had gotten, it looks great. Be sure that when you stay here at Hotel Metropolis you will not be treated as just money walking through the door. These people actually care about you and be prepared for conversation at the front desk with laughs and friendly smiles.

This is a cosy hotel with great, clean rooms with high ceilings, nice view and it is located in a great area surrounded by nice coffees, bars and stores. The staff of the hotel was amazing, I haven't met so a nice and helpful people in years! Thank you Dimitry! I would totally recommend it!

Great location, walking distance to the best restaurants in Serres. Some rooms need improvement but overall the hotel is ok. No breakfast.

Great location right in the centre of the town. Parking is a bit of a problem but that's expected given the location. We got one of the refurbished 2- room options (the hotel is an old downtown building) and it was nice and clean. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is big enough to have some decent space. The neighborhood is noisy so windows open is not an option. There was a view of the central street and shops from the small balcony but again it's too noisy to sit outside. The place is good for a short city break and the staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it's not wheelchair accessible and the stairs are a bit difficult for people with disabilities. There is an elevator though.
