s	sofia miliopoulos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The artwork is stunning, the building is beautiful and the three floors are well organised by period. However, the exhibitions are not very user friendly. There is not a path to follow. You don’t know where to start, and as you walk through a room the signs explain what you see but as you exit from the other way the sign are reversed. It would be much better to have a path to follow like in other museums and see the signs in the proper order. Also, in many paintings (mostly the ones under glass but also some that are not) they are many reflections and it can’t be observed correctly (see photos)
S	Susan from Athens on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A total reimagining of the National Gallery. The collection is primarily Greek in focus, but wide-ranging and includes some amazing art. The new building and hand allow the works to be enjoyed at leisure. Not necessarily the first place you will visit in Athens, but definitely well worth spending a few hours in. Disappointingly the café and restaurants hadn't opened yet, when I visited a month ago.
I	Ilias Chantzakos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The National Art Gallery has reopened in 2021 after 8 years of renovation. The new glass facade is impressive. The collection includes works of famous Greek artists from the 19th-21st centuries.
I	Ioannis Lekkas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ National gallery has a good selection of almost every painting style from mostly Greek artists or artists depicting Greek scenes. The building is very interesting and modern. I would visit it again for sure.

I also recommend the cafe on the lowest floor - efficient service with seating inside and outside. An easy walk across Rizari Park from Evangelismos metro station. Discount available for over 65s.
K	Kristina Giora on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressed with the actual facility that housed all the great Greek painters art work .. the staff very friendly .. however I was disappointed that the entire “Parthenis” collection was gone to another exhibit with the exception of 2 pieces. El Greco section was closed due to light issues. But overall I did give 5 stars due to the facility
3	32mankou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A national treasure. Doing lots of efforts. I guess the problem is the management. The manager that was in charge when 2 paintings From Picasso and Pierre Mondrian were stolen, is still in place. And nobody is gonna move her.

The location is great, in a practical and historical sense. A tip! If you are going to visit on Sunday, be there before 10.30, otherwise you will find a very long queue. You should definitely see also the temporary exhibition of Louvre (potraits). You should estimate 3 hours at least for all the collections.
