★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must see place on the island of Naxos. However, the site should be better taken care of. Tourists should pay the entrance fee if they wanted to see such a monument, and the collected money should be used for maintenance of the site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously amazing sightseeing in Greece but I wish, they made it more accessible by running more signs and having a good cafe with toilet that people can stop for refreshments especially when it is hot. A sweet old lady told us that there was more to see, but problem that there isn’t enough signs that can lead you to discover more. Also, it is quite nice to be surrounded by trees when you find the first man, but good luck of finding the second one in the heat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your interested in Greek history or art, this is a +1 or 5 star visit. The kouros have good signs- and are quite impressive. They are similar to the earlier Egyptian Hypostyle figures and style. If you can- visit the marble mines!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When arriving at the parking place, you will see this sign. It says "Melanes" to the right, however that is not the route for the statue. You have to follow the asphalt route, there you will find signs saying "Kourous". Afterwards the rest is easy to find. First statue is around 5 minutes walking. The other one around 10/15. It is a nice little hike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite an unexpected place. The garden around the statue is very charming, with lots of trees (there's a spring nearby) and an old lady selling delicious thyme honey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took us some time to find this place. Gpa kept leading us somewhere else but that’s just us. Place itself I beautiful. It’s not easy to find it due to lack of signs. There are a few but not enough. We ended up going on some rocks which I think used to be a river before then turned back and just wondered around looking into each corner and found the first statue. The second statue is on the top so it is a little hike up. WEAR APPROPRIATE SHOES. I was wearing flip flops and wasn’t easy so turned back down, didn’t make it to the second man. Plus go earlier in the morning so it’s not out in a heat! I did see a sign of a cafe but didn’t find it. At the end still a great experience.
