Μικρασιάτης και Σταυρουπολίτης, διατηρούσε το καφενείο στην πλατεία και για πολλά χρόνια, έψαχνε, μάζευε, διόρθωνε, συντηρούσε και αναδείκνυε με πολλή υπομονή, μεράκι και αγάπη για το παλιό και την παράδοση όλα τα αντικείμενα που σήμερα εκτίθενται στο Μουσείο της μικρής πόλης. Αξίζει οπωσδήποτε μια επίσκεψη, καθώς μέσα από τα εκθέματά του ζωντανεύει μια εποχή κι ένας κόσμος, που πλέον δεν υπάρχει... Παραδοσιακές φορεσιές, φιρμάνια τούρκικα, εργαλεία, έπιπλα, χρηστικά αντικείμενα σπάνια όπως καλούπι για φέσι... αλλά και μια χειροκίνητη σειρήνα! The Folklore Museum of Stavroupoli is the personal collection of a man, Stavros Karabatzakis (1932-1995). A native of Asia Minor and Stavroupoli, he maintained the cafe in the square and for many years, he searched, collected, corrected, maintained and highlighted with a lot of patience, passion and love for the old and tradition all the objects that are now exhibited in the Museum of the small town. Definitely worth a visit, as through its exhibits comes to life an era and a world that no longer exists ... Traditional costumes, Turkish firmans, tools, furniture, useful items rarely such as a mold for a fez ... but also a manual siren !
