★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mrs Alexia, will give you a detailed tour of the museum , she will "travel you" to the older times in Kastoria!! She is excellent in narrating how past life was in the area!! Definitely visit it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kastoria once was Kostur, home of thousands of Albanians who were brutally forced to leave the town after the Lousane Treaty. They were forced to go to Turkey just because many of them were muslims. They had no connection whatsoever with Turkey. They were old historic generations of Albanians who now-days are not remembered but instead hidden by Greek authorities. Sad!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's great to see how they used to live the old days and it is amazing how many of these are kept in good condition so next generations can have a glimpse of the past. An unforgettable tour. And it is pretty cheap as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful restored mansion of the 17th century, with much staff presenting how they used to live. Mrs Alexandra, the guide, gives all the history of the house. A must visit spot. Costs only 2€.
