★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το φρούριο Μολάων ονομαζόμενο και 《Παλιόπυργος》 βρίσκεται χτισμένο στην κοριφή ενώς πανύψηλου βράχου του βουνού της Κουρκούλας. Το φρούριο αυτό χτίστηκε από τους Δεσπότες του Μυστρά στις αρχές του 15ου αιώνα ή το νωρίτερο προς το τέλος του 14ου αιώνα περίπου. Προσφέρει φανταστική θέα αφού από εκεί βλέπετε την πόλη των Μολάων και τον απέραντο κάμπο της.
 The Molaon fortress, also called "Paliopyrgos", is built on the toothed as a towering cliff of the Kourkoulas mountain. This fort was built by the Masters of the Mysteries at the beginning of the 15th century or the earliest towards the end of the 14th century. It offers fantastic views from where you can see the town of Mola and its vast plain.
