A place of rest, awesome. A Turkish fort, relatively well preserved with a gigantic view of the Askifou plain.

Climb not that difficult. Untie fences and put them back up because of the sheep and goats. Magnificent views and 6 degrees cooler than on the coast

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The walk is amaxing and easy. The place and the view are wonderfull!!! Loved the place. Need to be careful if you take a child but is not impossible. Good to bring ypur food and water to the walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting historical location from the ottoman occupation of Crete.
To get here, you have to park by the road, close to a fairly steep hill. You might have to move a fence or two to get through. The hike is fairly easy, but I would recommend everyone to bring some water, or even a little food.
