J	Joanna Doyle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, relaxing perfect position with it's own mini white pebble crystal clear beach. Slightly tired building, but clean. Rooms have balconies with sea or mountain views and air conditioning. Very ,very helpful staff. Great pool and bar.

I asked ahead if they had gluten free items available (I have coeliac disease) and they shopped specifically for me - bread, rice cakes, biscuits and cereal. The owners Petros and Maria are so helpful, nothing is too much bother for them. If I ever go back to Kefalonia, I will choose the Galaxy Hotel.

You guys are doing a very and truely professional job. On the other hand: The bed was unconfortable, the rooms and the hotel in general would need a complete renovation. The furniture was old. Air conditioning was perfect and quite silent. Nice but small balcony. Breakfast was good enought, not memorable but good in average. I enjoyed the pool with sea water and the area sorrounding the pool that was clean, with shadow parts and nice lemon trees. I'd say that, for that price, you can't find anything better near Argostoli. Special thanks to Maria and Pietro who made our stay in the hotel a good experience, hope to see you again.
R	Roberto Giorgi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to put 5 stars to reward first of all the courtesy and friendliness of the managers. Many things are positive: the position with sea view, the large internal parking, the excellent swimming pool with sea water, the space around the pool with bar, sunbeds, tables and swing, the ground floor. The breakfast is not the best but it is ok; the breakfast area requires a better treatment of windows and tables and a fastest service. The bedroom floor (all with a large covered balcony) needs a complete building, plant and architectural renovation; the bathrooms are unsuitable, the beds are short and uncomfortable, the furniture is old, the electrical outlets are not enough). However, I must note that these shortcomings are typical of many hotels in Greece; in the next one in Corfu, more expensive, everything was missing and they didn't even clean the room. The price was very good and consider the shortcomings described. If I'll return in these beautiful place I'll return in the Galaxy.

They don't have a safe box in the rooms, so I kept my money in my wallet in my socks bag hidden in my luggage. On the check out day, I went to my room to get my money from the wallet and noticed that 300 euros and 900$ were missing. Obviously someone with a key to my room(cleaning lady or the towel guy or the receptionist) stole it because my room was always locked when I went out of the hotel. I asked them to check the cameras but they said there are none in the hallway. I filed a police report in Argostoli police station in hope that they can do something!!!DO NOT stay in this hotel and if you want to stay, don't leave anything valuable in the room when you go out!!!
