Galini Breeze - Rethymno

Perfect voor een zorgeloos weekje aan de zuidkust van Kreta. Mooi, nieuw en schoon, lekker zwembad en zeer gastvrije ontvangst..

We hebben net de locatie bezocht. De bouw is ver gevorderd. Prachtige muren in natuursteen. Wat een geweldig uitzicht over zee, vanuit alle luxe, in verschillende niveau's geschakelde, terrace-rooms (hoe moet je zoiets mooi's noemen?)! We willen als eerste boeken, maar of dat gaat lukken....?

Le paradis sur Terre géré par deux merveilleuses personnes! Nous avons passé un séjour fabuleux, Monique et Marcus font tout pour que l'on se sente chez nous : accueil chaleureux, disponibilité, de bons conseils sur les restaurants, les randonnées, les plages,... Nous reviendrons!

Supertolle familiäre kleine Bungalow-Anlage mit herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Monique und Marc sind sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber. Der Pool ist beheizt was im Frühsommer sehr angenehm ist.Jeder Bungalow verfügt über eine Klimaanlage und einer Dachterrasse sowie einen Balkon. Es war eine herrlich entspannte Woche. Wir kommen wieder.

Great location with wonderfull view. Hosts Marc & Monique taking care for a warm, personal welcome. Studio appartments are modern and have all the luxery you need. Great place to stay!

Perfect place, amazing hosts! It's like landing on heaven... You should definitely spend 5-7 days there. It's serene and clam and the hosts are attentive and discreet. Loved it!

This beautiful complex is run by two amazing people. You feel right at home, the breakfast is delicious and the location is beautiful. On one side you look at the sea, on the other side, you look out over the beautiful mountains of Crete. Within a few minutes you are in the lovely village and some steps further there is a beautiful beach. The studios are very well decorated and the pool is beautiful. Highly recommended!

Galini Breeze: a haven on the hill Sitting quietly on a hill overlooking Agia Galini and the sea beyond this serene set of four studios immediately enchanted us. From the arrival greeting by our host, Marc, in the very early hours of the morning we relaxed into one of the most peaceful breaks we have ever experienced. What’s to say – the accommodation is intentionally simple though very stylish and has everything needed, including a really efficient AC system. The peaceful pool, its bar and the sunbeds overlook the village and the sea, with a supply of drinks and fruit always available. There is an evening offering a couple of times a week where the hosts provide a drink or two and little nibbles (free) for the guests – chat, information, local gossip, just a nice way to say hello to other guests – all wholly optional and no pressure to be there, but still a great idea for those whom it suits. The ten minute steep walk down to the village is fine, the walk back up is less so after a meal and some drinks. We sometimes compensated by getting a taxi back up from a friendly local family. Still, young things need not be concerned by such labours. In between the studios and the village is a great wee supermarket, great for stocking up on stuff. All in all this is keenly priced high end self-catering in our view (+ room/pool service and all that), with the owners Marc and Monique the ever informative, warm and helpful hosts. No negatives at all, although the place does at times live up to its name Galini ‘Breeze’. David & Paula
