★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kernitsa Bridge is a traditional stone bridge with two archs, built between 1901 and 1905. It is situated directly below the famous Panagia Kernitsa Monastery, in the valley of Mylaontas river. It was built at the time in order to provide easier access to the Monastery. It is easily accessible nowadays, as it is situated next to the modern paved road leading to the Monastery. The area is full of wild vegetation, which, together with the Mylaontas river, creates a fantastic scenery. The bridge can also be accessed via the Nymphasia - Magouliana segment of the Menalon trail.
