Είναι η έδρα του συλλόγου φίλων του Διαχρονικού Μουσείου της πόλης, ενώ παλιά σε αυτό στεγαζόταν το αρχαιολογικό μουσείο της, μέχρι τα εκθέματά του να μεταφερθούν στο υπερσύγχρονο, πρόσφατα εγκαινιασμένο Διαχρονικό Μουσείο. Χρησιμοποιείται για εκδηλώσεις, παρουσιάσεις κ.α. The Yeni Mosque is in excellent condition. It is the seat of the Friends' Club of the city's Timeless Museum, and once housed its archaeological museum, until its exhibits are moved to the state-of-the-art, recently inaugurated Timeless Museum. It is used for events, presentations and more.

Από το 1939 έως το 1941 στέγαζε μια μικρή αρχαιολογική συλλογή και τη δημοτική βιβλιοθήκη, ενώ από το 1957 έως μέχρι τον Ιανουάριο του 2012 το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο της Λάρισας.Βρίσκεται στην πλατεία Λαού απέναντι από τον Ιερό Ναό του Αγίου Βησσαρίωνα και το ωδείο. Μετά την μεταφορά των εκθεμάτων του στο νέο Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο, σχεδιάζεται η λειτουργία του ως χώρος ψηφιακής παρουσίασης του πολιτισμού της Λάρισας, όπου θα τοποθετηθούν ψηφιακά συστήματα προβολής των μνημείων της, αλλά και του σύγχρονου πολιτισμού τους. It is a 19th-century building, used as a mosque until 1924. From 1939 to 1941 it housed a small archaeological collection and municipal library, and from 1957 until January 2012 the Larisa Archaeological Museum. Located on the square People across the Church of St. Bessarion and the Conservatory. Following the transfer of its exhibits to the new Archaeological Museum, it is planned to function as a digital presentation area of Larissa's culture, where digital display systems for its monuments and their modern civilization will be installed.

Λόγω μέριμνας της πολιτείας το κτήριο παραμένει σε εξαιρετική κατάσταση. The building was built in the late 19th century as a place of worship and is an example of Ottoman architecture. Originally housed the Municipal Library and since 1950 the Archaeological Museum of the city. Due to state concern the building remains in excellent condition.

Β	Βασιλης Σαμαρας on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Αξιοθεατο της Λαρισας ...απο μουσειο εγινε πολιτιστικος χωρος....πολυ καλος για μικρες εκθεσεις ....κ για δρωμενα αλλα με λιγο κοσμο (αφου ο χωρος ειναι περιορισμενος) που ξερει ν σεβεται τν καλλιτεχνη Sightseeing of Larissa ... from a museum it became a cultural space .... very good for small exhibitions .... and for events but with a little people (since the space is limited) who knows how to respect the artist
