Was here 3 years ago before the storm in 2019, when it was great to go here. Now the storm has destroyed the path / road through Gorgen. Very difficult to walk many places, good exercise then. Remember water and good shoes

Wonderful hiking destination and stunning scenery. Plus a trip from the coast through small villages where you can see real Greek life. We didn’t get to the end when the flood had cleared the path and there was a mere rock in front of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gut ausgebaute Wanderroute. Wenig anspruchsvoll, Turnschuhe oder Wanderschuhe dennoch zu empfehlen. Hier kann mann Geier beobachten, vorausgesetzt man hat ein Fernglas dabei.
Well developed hiking route. Not very demanding, but sneakers or hiking shoes are still recommended. Here you can watch vultures, provided you have binoculars with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and easy gorge. Lovely vultures. No spectacular passages. Mass tourist path (concerte) is mostly dammaged.... but hikers wont care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful and very quiet gorge. About 1 ½ hours up and back. Then to the Taverna To Farangi in the village for perfect food and refreshments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful walk through the gorge along a peaceful stream. Visited after a recommendation from the local Taverna, and well worth the short drive! The stream must be crossed via the rocks in several places as the road is washed out. Proper footwear recommended!
