Welcoming reception. Welcome champagne and snack was a great touch. Great estate with fantastic view. Not so private as people can walk right by the front of my room. Service at the restaurant for dinner was extremely SLOW but at least the food was very good. The restaurant staff tried to pass used blanket as new blanket. Had to ask 3 times for blankets and 3 times for the wine menu which never came so I ended up getting a beer. No special treatment even though the hotel helped me book a private ferry to propose to my girlfriend the day before checking in while another hotel upgraded us to the honeymoon suite with a whole bottle of welcome champagne, fruits, rose petals on the bed and a bottle of white wine to make the stay extra special. Grace is a good hotel but didn't leave any special memories.

Great location for Santorini. Staff is attentive and very helpful sometimes over bearing. Only complaint is that if you travel here May the pool is ice cold it's not heated. The food at Grace is extremely expensive. Other restaurants are easily accessible though. There is a lot of attention to detail though. Overall a nice stay.

Favorite hotel on the island. Less crowded area than Oia. Rooms and amenities are nice. Incredible view. Great breakfast served on the terrace every morning. Slightly difficult to access (many stairs & long pathway to walk - not accessible for those with mobility restrictions), but hotel provided fair warning of this.

To put things into perspective we stayed at The Grace for 5 nights paying €3000+ a night. Welcoming arrival with a glass of champagne while we were checked in then taken to our room which we had initially booked, the superior suite. The ‘suite’ was tiny but the big problem was between you and your beautiful view of the caldera is a public pathway meaning any hikers walking up and down can see directly into your room. This would be ok if it’s a quiet pathway but we counted 40 people passing in 15 minutes. So we requested to change rooms, but other suites in our category were unavailable as was the next available upgrade. We ended up in a grace suite for an extra €1000 a night. The Grace suite is a lovely room itself, plenty of space for 2 people and much more private although you’re still overlooked from the hotel restaurant above, but some things can’t be helped in this style of hotel we understood that. The issues with the room came where there is only one mirror outside of the bathroom which is inside the wardrobe door and isn’t near a plug socket so you’re forced to use the bathroom mirror for blow drying your hair which isn’t ideal. ONE towel each was provided in the bathroom with one small bath mat for a huge bathroom with a shower and plunge pool so you’re treading on bare floor with wet feet. Cleaning service is not what I expect for a hotel of this category if you leave some clothes on the bed they don’t fold or put it away for you, the bin wasn’t changed one day in the toilet, used glasses were either not removed or removed and not replaced so we had to constantly call reception to bring us glasses when we needed them and they didn’t check the mini bar every day which caused confusion when we checked out. The service in the hotel restaurant is slow and not 5* The breakfast got tiresome and we were only offered champagne once after being told a ‘champagne breakfast’ is included. Things were often forgotten and it felt like a few of the staff were in training. 2 of the 5 nights the bar was closed for private weddings. That’s absolutely the hotels prerogative to have private functions but it would have been nice to have been advised in advance if a hotel feature is unavailable as I have in other hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely hotel in an area that is much quieter than Oia and Fira which is preferable for us and the views are stunning but the hotel doesn’t own the view & they’ve a long way to go to bring the hotel up to feeling like a true 5* before I would recommend paying what we did to stay there. It’s also worth mentioning that there are A LOT of steps to get to and from the hotel which is not for the faint hearted. This is obviously not a reflection on the hotel itself but be prepared.

Friendly and helpful staff, amazing views, beautiful rooms. Great place for weddings. There is a lot of stairs though (then again, it is Santorini).

Really enjoyed a good evening dinner at this breathtaking hotel restaurant. Lava chocolate dessert was brilliant, so are the main fish dishes. A minor drawback for the Caribbean signature cocktail. I can be seen as a connaisseur in cocktails and both presentation and taste were unfortunately under par. Recommend to use real glass instead of the relic cup, and add a bit more sour, a bit more flavour (more 43 less rhum) and add a pinch of sweetness by either cinnamon or brown sugar type. Dont use paper straws this thin, they will block after a minute or two. Recommend to use reusable bamboo and a wide paper straw combination.

Rented sun beds for the afternoon with the champagne and fruit platter package, no complaints except that it would be nice if the pool were heated! ?? Had a lovely time though, and particularly enjoyed the unobstructed views of Skaras Rock - thanks for the relaxing afternoon Grace team!

Personalized concierge upon arrival, made us feel right at home. Spacious rooms with a direct entrance. John the bartender served us made to order drinks that were phenomenal. Location was prime near hiking trails and great restaurants.
