Grecotel Creta Palace - Missiria

1hour and 10 mins from chania Airport, Omg first impressions were wow wow wow absolutely beautiful, extremely lovely staff from start to end, we arrived late and was met with front of house staff who explained the way the hotel works, WiFi, covid process eg how to reserve breakfast and evening meal. We were offered evening meal was delicious. The hotel is superb in the facilities it offers , however due to covid some facilities wasn't available in groups. The breakfast so much to choose from the range of fresh breads , continental and English breakfast delicious fresh juices mouthwatering, the breakfast staff were wonderful we were such a big group 22 . Lunch time just as delicious with so much to choose from .evening meal had a special every night and fresh pancakes and freshly cooked food and lots of drinks to choose from. The beach bar was fabulous had a vegan smoothie every afternoon good seating area looking at the beach , again the staff here are friendly helpful and had time for everyone. There is an online pool which is spotless with loungers . There's table tennis and a number of restaurants on site . There's also a few shops . The evening bar is fabulous with so many drinks smoothie fresh juices to choose from oh and delicious snacks . The view from our room was breathtaking looked on to the ocean and views of the mountains and surroundings our room was spotless with large king-size bed , huge bathroom with bath and shower. Loads of toiletries provided and clean towels every day . The fridge had fizzy drinks and water and fruit on the table . The entertainment every evening was really enjoyable. This place is definitely worth a visit . Thank you all the staff for being so welcoming. Stayed in 323 from 23rd Oct 2021 to 30th Oct 2021.

I booked from 23-10-21 to 31-10 21 From the outside appearance the receiving porters ,arrival checking in was excellent. My double room with sea view and sea sound, plus safety in the shower excellent. Room 421. Room cleaning and bed art superb. Restaurant covid safety ,the people working in the restaurant and bar warm and very pleasant. The quantities of the food woh ,plentiful and delicious well done. Thanks to the management and staff for such a good service considering, the hotel was full and many happy children running happily around. I recommend this 5 star hotel to anyone who enjoys a excellent service, I definitely will go back next year with my family and grand children.

Location and the swimming pools are amazing. We had a garden room right next door to the kids play area. The kids enjoyed the craft activities very much, but unfortunately the struggled to sleep during the 8pm disco every single night. I wish we had known then would asked for a room further away. Listening to baby shark while trying to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio - not great. The food is awful. There are ‘multiple restaurants’ true, but 2 of them are only open from 7pm, that leaves you with a buffet option and the brasserie. All from frozen food (note the * on their menus). Paying €20 for a club sandwich and chips from frozen… utter rip off. Not a gyro or souvlaki in sight either. They do have direct access to the beach, but so do most hotels in Crete!

We spent a week in June, nice facility, good food, very nice service? I definitely recommend it ?

Amazing stay for the whole Family. Special shout out to the Grecoland Kids Team, Georgia, Ellie and Christina!! Big factor in choosing the hotel. You are amazing.

We booked this place via a resort website. They booked us with a child that we don’t have. Which means that our suite room doesn’t have any sort of a couch in the living room instead two portable twin beds. Unless you pay the extra €75 a person for each day of your stay, you can’t use any of the resort facilities, not even eating at their restaurants. Items were broken in our room or in bad shape. We were told to dial for the front staff, which is entertaining since the phone doesn’t work… All in all I am left underwhelmed and I wouldn’t pay to stay here again. Otherwise the location is good and it nice that we have a garden view.

My friend and I have a beautiful room with plenty of space for hanging our clothes and a good size bathroom. The view to the sea is fabulous and the balcony is very peaceful. The staff have been very helpful especially Panos who sorted out our room. We now have our itinerary for the week thanks to Georgia. The hotel is very spacious with lots of areas to relax and eat and drink. The reception is beautiful and leads out onto a sun terrace and pool. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
