Hersonissos Maris Hotel - HERSONISOU BEACH 46 LIMIN-HERSONISSOS GR 70014

Location: very good hotel location. Not only is it near the beach, but also the beach is not that crowded in comparison to the beaches in Hersonissos center. The sea is just a street away.The Staff were super friendly and helpful when it came down to asking questions and requiring assistance. Also, the variety of foods as well as it's taste did not dissapoint: it's nothing fancy, but it's good and varies to not get sick and tired of having same thing every day. The negative: giving the rooms 2 stars as not only a part of them looking old, too small for comfort (showers) and not taken care of, but also at first I had a super terrible room in the first floor, that had one window and felt like a basement. Not only that, one evening after coming back inside I found a cockroach in the apartment which was not a very pleasant experience and makes you question the tidyness of the appartments. At least the staff were helpful enough to provide me with another apartment in second floor that also had a balcony. This was a salvation after having to spend a night in the basement appartment from before. Not sure If I'd like to ever come back here, but I would probably still recommend it as a decent place to stay. Also, it is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Giving 4 stars, but it might be a bit too generous

The staff was very friendly, and came around to clean the rooms daily. There was always a variety of food at the buffets, plus a little convience store on the resort. There were plenty of beaches to go to in walking distance, plus 2 communal pools on the resort. I recommend getting a room with a semi private pool like we did. We enjoyed the quiet, the option for shade and being near our room while enjoying the pool. Overall a great location to vacation! ? ⛱ There is also a car rental place a 2 minute walk down the road. The prices are great and full coverage. Recommend renting a vehicle for the day to go into town to see the Aquarium and Archeological Museum. Also, taking a stroll around the Port and walking the Sea Wall is beautiful!

The hotel is definitely not a four star hotel as it was advertised by our travel agency. It actually requires some improvements here and there. The only toiletries provided are soap bars, a small bottle of hand sanitiser, 30 ml, and by the bath there is a soap dispenser. However, the personnel was friendly, working hard to make guests feel welcomed. The food was ok, we were half-board, I am a very fussy eater and there were choices, on some evenings I was quite impressed with the food, on others the selection was just fine, but never left with an empty stomach. Kindly note that at dinner beverages are not included, but can be ordered. The location is great, we stayed in a sea view room and could hear the waves hitting the shore from the bed. I recommend it and definitely we will pay a second visit.

One of the best hotel I have stayed in. Everything was perfect room, food, staff, entertainment and location.

this is a smaller Hotel . Best suited for couples or with friends who want to relax . Not really suited for kids. Rooms are good and clean and service is top . Looking forward to go again.

Very friendly, much languages, closeby there is a car rental service. Nice beaches at walk distance. Privé swimming pool at your room possible. Swimming pool indoor and outdoors.

Nice place for a vacation. Close to the beach ( private beach of the hotel). Great service, food can be better . 5 minutes ride from the city centre

Bad: got a lot of bed bugs bites. My whole body was itchy. Hotel restrictions were sometimes weird. Over-harsh covid restrictions, extra charging for unjustified things like the very old pool table that can’t even be used right cause the walls are too close. At dinner you must buy minimal water and not allowed to bring from outside and no tap water. Good: location is great and nice, food is decent and veritable.
