Nice location, good food, lots to do. Bar is also fun, with cocktails. And the view on the see is beautiful. Rooms have the basic stuff. Showers are cold and you cant move the showerhead.

Currently staying at hersonissos village. Very impressed so far. Staff are all lovely. Food is great. Location is great. Beds are very hard and pools are very cold. It is the last week of the season so without heated pools it is understandable, and the pools are still being used even though it's cold. The sunbeds at the lower pool are more comfy than the beds in our room. Majority of the guests are German. Having a great time so far!

This is not a 4 star hotel and some of the rooms are 2 star at most. The rooms we received were very bad shape, they do not look at all as the rooms on hotel website. The furniture is very old, broken and scratched, bathroom appliances are green and moldy, door knobs are rusty, the windows were stained and the insect net and sunshades were broken and did not close. Air conditioning was not working properly, we asked to be fixed and they did fix it but then it was constantly dripping water and had to keep a towel on the floor for the entire stay. Overall the room was in terrible shape and we asked in reception to have it changed. They told us the hotel was full and only after three days offered us an alternative but we considered was already too late to worth moving our belongings. The restaurant and pool area are to small for hotel size but the personnel is nice and they do their best to feel guest welcomed. The food is good and the scenery and view is indeed spectacular. Still I feel hotel management should be fair and inform the guests about different room standards and not sell a miserable room as a 4 star.

(-) Maintenance needed. Balcony door hardly got closed. In bathroom, sink table had stains from water. The mattresses on queen bed were very hard, uncomfortable, irregular, with rough, hard sides. There should be 1 mattress double size, not 2. Although we were checked in family room (we were 2 persons), there were only 2 pillows. On check in we noticed light bulb in bathroom was hanging. This issue was remedied and letting them know. (+) We had one trip for which we had to leave early in the morning. In previous evening we announced them this, so we could have early breakfast before breakfast usual time. Food was good, multiple options. Dessert was very good. (*info) Cabs to center cost 8€. On Sunday beaches are populated/reserved by locals mostly. Hard to find a spot close to hotel. Hotel is on a small hill, so consider this when planning going to the beach a few times per day.

Not really recommend this place. With kids - never. No attractions, nothing in area. Food is great, by the way. Really good, also a lot of cats. But rooms are old and lack of light. Also air conditioning is quite poor, in our room few times it stopped working. I would say, it is OK 3 star hotel, but definitely costs too much, at least for 20% more pricey than it should be.

At a first look, the place is great. The buildings are pretty, the view is amazing, the stuff is friendly, the food is fine. But there is no way this place is a 4 star place. The room I got had old, overused and not so good looking furniture, there is no signal from WiFi or just for making a call inside the room, the drinks from 'all inclusive' are very bad quality - even if you pay for them, they're exactly the same cheap bad drinks from all inclusive (coffee and beer are totally undrinkable). Plus, I thought a 4 star place would be able to help you with an iron if you needed one, but no, they don't offer this kind of services....weird, so you gotta walk around with messy clothes I guess.

First of all, I have to thank this hotel a lot for its splendid service as they were always friendly and tried to help with anything, including answering questions about food regarding allergens and finding alternatives for me. This made my stay very pleasant. Besides the incredible service that I was able to witness, I would like to emphasize that the hotel is located at a very nice and calm place, making it possible to have a marvellous panoramic view of the city Hersonissos and the mountains from the pools. Moreover, besides the amazing service and location of the hotel, I enjoyed the food a lot, which represented a huge diversity. In total I absolutely recommend this hotel and advise everyone who wants to go to Crete to enjoy their time at Hersonissos Village.

The hotel is situated on top of a very steep hill, which makes it hard to climb but gives a great view. It is a complex of several small white houses in traditional Cretan style. Rooms are small and shabby. Very basic furnished, really small bathroom with quite odd faucet and gross shower curtain. No place to dry your beach towels or whatever. Gefiry beach is 10min away down the hill, which makes return after long day under the sun very unpleasant. Food is good, nothing special. Local beer on the free bar taste awful. I wouldn’t never give it 4 stars. Do not recommend this place.
