★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Staff was friendly and making an effort. Turtles nesting on the beach. Location is fine. Probably good for couples with children, not so for elder couples.. Negative: The pictures are much better than the reality; it is comfortable, but rather run-down with old furniture and much old and broken equipment around. Hot water not reliable. Beach OK but not great..

Lovely sunset, friendly staff (thank you Kostas and Lisa), good food and possibilities to relax in the sun. Excellent!. Negative: Everything was ok....

This Paradise with a perfect swimming pool and a great taverna is directly on the beach with Caretta Caretta nests included. Kostas and Lisa serve great greek food at their taverna and always prepare a daily special with local seasonal ingredients. The vibe here is just wonderful, very laid back and pure harmony which we like a lot. The location of Hippokratis Apartments is very central to explore Crete. But the best part is the family that owns and runs the place: Kostas, Lisa and the children. Thank you again, Kostas, Lisa, Kari, Minos and Elli for the lovely time we have had at your place. We Highly recommend..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The time spent in Hippokratis Apartments was exceptional good. The atmosphere in this resort allows for a real rest. The wonderful family that runs the resort with warmth and kindness. Wonderful sunrise and sunset and views from the upper floor: to the east, west and north. A huge advantage is the swimming pool and beach very close to the tavern. And what Kostas prepares - it's real Cretan cuisine. This taste of oil, meat, feta ... Thank you very much for the opportunity to spend your vacation under natural umbrellas, under beautiful trees, with singing cicadas and with Caretta-Caretta turtle nests. I strongly recommend.. Negative: Everything was OK..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places since 30y. U get the possibility to sit 30m far from the sea, have a great dinner, listen to the waves ( and mostly they are really big) in a cosy area. The restaurant is not crowded and Kostas the owner is a very nice guy and very friendly. If u are in the area - test it .. even for a frappe in the afternoon at this great and empty beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing traditional Greek food and very friendly service in a small family business. I had the vegetarian pita and it had the best tzatsiki I have tried and it was also very affordable. I would recommend the Cretan breakfast because it was big&filling and very delicious and the Greek coffee was spectacular! Amazing view just right at the beach. Bonus points for using local products, such as the honey. I recommed this place for dinner, breakfast or just for a drink at the beach.
