★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A holy place with gorgeous view at the sea from above It is very touristy though and it is difficult to have a moment for a calm prayer. One of the nuns was a bit rude. It is one of the must see historic places in Thassos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You should not miss visiting this monastery and do not miss the souvenir shop that offers a wide range of products. You must buy the products manufactured by the nuns (jams, honey) at any cost. The panorama is breathtaking.
